Used 2025 Honda Ridgeline for Sale near New Mexico

How much does the 2025 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 8.01% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,591 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Ridgelines to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It stands out because Honda takes a crossover-like unibody approach instead of the usual body-on-frame truck formula, and that helps give you a more carlike, easy-to-live-with pickup. The Ridgeline’s strengths are comfort, great handling, and standard all-wheel drive, which make it especially appealing if you want truck utility without the usual rough edges.

The main trade-offs are limiting towing capacity for a midsize pickup and outdated technology. Even so, the market still shows 38.1% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Ridgeline’s unibody construction and refined road manners support a reputation for being easy to live with, and the expert evaluation describes it as a good, basic truck with clever design features and a no-nonsense interior. Its V6 and nine-speed automatic are described as an excellent combination, with smooth, responsive power delivery and solid overall refinement.

Honda’s three-year, 36,000-mile limited warranty and five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty align closely with what you’d expect in this class. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its lower towing and off-road limits may not match your needs if you plan to use it like a traditional truck.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a truck that may have seen family-duty, commuting, or light work use. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake wear, and signs of interior or cargo-area abuse, since those are often the best clues to how a used pickup has been treated.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Ridgeline is offered in Sport, RTL, TrailSport, and Black Edition trim levels. The Sport is the base model and skips SiriusXM satellite radio, while the higher trims add more equipment and the Black Edition gets the most upscale audio setup. The TrailSport is the off-road-focused choice, but even it remains less extreme than some rival off-road trims.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and standard AWD. It’s smooth and responsive, and the unibody setup helps the truck feel more refined on pavement than traditional body-on-frame rivals.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The lack of a 360-degree camera system is a notable gap.
• Infotainment: Every Ridgeline gets a 9-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. The system is functional, but the interface and screen size feel dated compared with some rivals.
• Fuel efficiency: Most models return 21 mpg combined, with 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. TrailSport models are slightly less efficient.

Which 2025 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, RTL, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Ridgeline’s core strengths: standard AWD, the V6, and the practical, easygoing character that defines the truck. It’s the trim to consider if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and don’t need the extra convenience features found higher up.
• RTL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it builds on the Ridgeline’s comfort and usability without pushing you into the more specialized TrailSport or the pricier Black Edition. If you want a well-rounded daily driver with a more complete feature set, this is the trim to focus on first.
• TrailSport: Choose this if you want the off-road-focused version. It adds all-terrain tires, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate, but it still isn’t a hardcore off-roader. It makes the most sense if you like the idea of a more rugged-looking Ridgeline and expect to leave pavement occasionally.
• Black Edition: This is the top trim, and it’s the one to buy if you want the most upscale version of the Ridgeline. It adds the richest equipment mix in the lineup, including the upgraded audio setup, and suits you best if you want the most premium-feeling Ridgeline available.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop, but the best listings can still move quickly.

• Deal availability: 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,591 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.01% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,524, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $35,524 sits slightly below last year's $38,617.

That price movement suggests the Ridgeline has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help support demand if you decide to sell later. A softer market today can also mean you may need to price competitively when it’s your turn to list the truck.

The Ridgeline’s strong owner satisfaction and practical reputation should help it remain appealing to shoppers who want a comfortable, easy-to-live-with pickup. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests and four stars in rollover testing.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The system generally works unobtrusively, though the adaptive cruise control can be slow to accelerate when traffic clears.

IIHS testing showed a mix of results, including Good scores in the updated side crash test and the original moderate front overlap test, an Acceptable score in the small overlap front test, and a Marginal headlight rating. The lack of a 360-degree camera system is another notable shortcoming.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged after the 2024 updates, so you’re shopping a refined version of the current generation.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $33,909, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $35,524 average.
• It adds a new TrailSport trim and tech updates that modernize the cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of this generation and are comfortable with the market price, the 2025 is the straightforward choice. If you’re focused on value, the 2024 can be the smarter buy because it brings many of the same core strengths for less money.
