Used 2025 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearMount Pleasant, MI

How much does the 2025 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 7.77% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,631 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for used shoppers.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a 5/5 user rating and an 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It stands out because it uses crossover-like unibody construction and clever storage solutions instead of the traditional body-on-frame truck formula. That makes it easier to live with than many rivals, especially if you want a midsize pickup that feels comfortable and usable every day.

The trade-offs are clear: it does not offer the towing capacity or off-road capability of more traditional trucks, and its technology is described as outdated. Even so, the Ridgeline’s comfortable ride and great handling make it a strong fit if you value everyday livability over ruggedness.

36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Ridgeline’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward single-powertrain setup and its emphasis on refinement over complexity. Its V6 and nine-speed automatic are described as an excellent combination, and the truck’s unibody construction helps it feel solid while also damping road noise and vibration.

Honda’s three-year, 36,000-mile limited warranty and five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty are in line with what you’d expect in this class. The overall ownership picture is reassuring, but used buyers should still watch for signs of hard use, especially if the truck has been asked to tow or venture off pavement often.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a truck that may have seen towing or rough-road use. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake wear, and signs that the cabin or bed has been heavily used.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Ridgeline remains unique among pickups because it uses unibody construction instead of the body-on-frame setup used by rivals. Base Sport models miss SiriusXM satellite radio, while higher trims add more convenience and equipment. The TrailSport brings off-road-focused hardware, and the Black Edition sits at the top of the range with the most features.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The setup is smooth and responsive, and the truck’s ride quality and handling benefit from the unibody design and fully independent suspension.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The system is comprehensive, though the lack of a 360-degree camera is a notable gap.
• Infotainment: Every Ridgeline comes with a 9-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. The interface is functional, but the screen is smaller than some rivals’ and the graphics feel dated.
• Fuel efficiency: Most models return 21 mpg combined, with 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.

Which 2025 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, RTL, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, and it still gives you the Ridgeline’s core strengths: standard AWD, the V6, the 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless charging. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the model’s comfort and utility.
• RTL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it builds on the Sport with more comfort and convenience while staying focused on everyday use. If you want a more polished Ridgeline without moving into specialty territory, this is the trim to target.
• TrailSport: Choose this if you want the most off-road-oriented Ridgeline. It adds all-terrain tires, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate, but it still isn’t as capable off-road as more extreme rivals.
• Black Edition: This is the top trim and the most upscale choice, with the most premium presentation and the eight-speaker audio system. It suits you if you want the most features and the most polished cabin in the lineup.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup, but the lack of a 360-degree camera remains a safety-package gap.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,631 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,821, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $35,821 sits slightly below last year's $38,840.

That softer pricing suggests the Ridgeline is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that means you may not see the same short-term appreciation that a tighter market can create, but you could benefit from buying at a more favorable entry point now.

The Ridgeline’s practical strengths still matter for resale because shoppers who want comfort, usability, and standard AWD tend to value those traits consistently. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests from NHTSA, and four stars in rollover testing.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The system works mostly unobtrusively, though adaptive cruise control can be slow to accelerate when traffic clears.

IIHS testing also shows some strengths and one caveat: the Ridgeline earned a “Good” score in the updated side crash test and in the original moderate front overlap test, plus an “Acceptable” score in the small overlap front test. Headlights were rated “Marginal,” which is worth keeping in mind if you drive often at night.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 carries over unchanged after the 2024 updates, so you’re getting the latest version of this setup.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $34,178, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $35,821 average.
• It adds a new TrailSport trim, tech updates, and a more traditional pickup look.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of the Ridgeline’s current formula and don’t mind paying more, the 2025 is the straightforward choice. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter value play because it delivers the same basic truck concept for less money.
