What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Passport?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re serious about, even when the market looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on overall condition, signs of prior damage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Because this model is valued for comfort, cargo space, and capability, make sure the interior, cargo area, and drivetrain feel consistent with the seller’s description.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 22.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,457 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.82% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,698, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $37,699 sits slightly below last year's $40,461.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the market continues to value this model’s space and practicality. If demand stays steady for roomy two-row SUVs with strong utility, the Passport should remain reasonably competitive. A lower entry price today can also help cushion depreciation if you plan to keep it for several years.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 22.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $35,538, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $37,699 average.
• It offers a proven, practical formula with standard all-wheel drive and useful capability.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $47,150, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $37,699 average.
• It brings a major redesign with a more modern, spacious, and user-friendly feel.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, availability, and proven appeal, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value play, while the 2026 makes sense only if you want the redesign and are comfortable paying a much higher price.
