How much does the 2025 Honda Passport cost?

Prices have softened 6.90% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,533 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2025 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Passport earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a two-row midsize SUV with a roomy cabin, generous cargo space, and a strong V6 powertrain, so you get more capability than a compact crossover without stepping up to a three-row SUV. Standard all-wheel drive, a 5,000-pound towing rating, and the TrailSport’s more adventure-focused personality make it especially appealing if you want everyday usefulness with extra versatility. 18.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The Passport’s overview points to Honda’s reputation for reliability, plus a proven V6 and a straightforward, practical design that should age well for many buyers. Its broad usefulness and standard equipment also support confidence if you want a used SUV that can handle daily driving, family duty, and occasional towing. For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about durability and more about accepting its fuel economy and dated infotainment tradeoffs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Passport?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the listing’s background and verify there are no hidden issues. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the drivetrain, brakes, tires, and any signs of uneven wear, especially if the SUV has seen towing or frequent road trips. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the Passport’s expected practicality and durability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Passport?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what to target.

• Deal availability: 18.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.90% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,649, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $37,650 sits slightly below last year's $40,442.

That price movement suggests the Passport has become a bit more accessible for buyers, which can help demand in the near term. For a future seller, the current softness may limit upside if you buy at the top of the range, but it also means you may be entering at a more reasonable price point. The Passport’s broad usefulness and strong reputation should continue to support interest when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 18.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $35,512, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $37,650 average.
• It offers a familiar, practical feel with proven tech and standard all-wheel drive.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $47,042, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $37,650 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more rugged look with a roomier, more modern feel.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-equipped Passport with strong owner satisfaction and a softer price trend. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better value play. If you want the newest design and are willing to pay more, the 2026 is the upgrade path.
