Is the 2025 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2025 Honda Passport stands out as a two-row midsize SUV that blends everyday practicality with a strong V6 powertrain and a roomy cabin. It seats five comfortably, offers generous cargo space, and can tow up to 5,000 pounds, so it fits well if you want more capability than a compact crossover without moving up to a three-row SUV. Its standard all-wheel drive, useful tech, and broad versatility make it especially appealing if you value comfort and utility over flash. With 33.5% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. Honda’s reputation for reliability and the Passport’s broad usefulness help support confidence if you plan to keep the vehicle for years. The model’s straightforward formula also suggests fewer surprises than more complex alternatives, especially if you prioritize proven capability and everyday usability. For used buyers, that usually means lower long-term ownership risk if the vehicle has been maintained well.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Passport?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm title status, prior damage, and service records. Put inspection priority on the cabin, cargo area, tires, brakes, and any signs of off-road or towing wear. Focus on overall condition and maintenance consistency, since those factors matter most when you’re buying a versatile SUV like this one.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Passport?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting huge discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,621 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.22% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,160, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $37,160 sits slightly below last year's $40,054.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. The Passport’s strong utility, roomy cabin, and broad appeal should help it remain desirable to used buyers. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintain it well, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• It offers a familiar, practical setup with proven capability.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $46,792, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $37,160 average.
