Used 2025 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearEugene, OR

How much does the 2025 Honda Odyssey cost?

Prices have softened 16.19% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,664 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey earns an expert rating of 6.33/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Form and function.

For family buyers, the Odyssey still leans into comfort, practicality, and easy driving manners, with comfortable seats and plenty of cargo space remaining central to its appeal. It also gets a few 2025 updates, including a new 7-inch digital driver display, an updated 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, modernized USB-C charging ports, a smartphone charging pad, and a new Amazon Fire TV rear-seat entertainment system.

The trade-offs are clear: the hybrid powertrain is unavailable, and the updated technology is described as only meeting minimum standards and expectations. It also falls behind rivals on value, which matters if you want the most equipment for your money.

Good and great deals account for 38.3% of listings, so you do have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is presented as a familiar, comfort-first minivan with a long-running formula, and its driving manners remain a strength. The expert evaluation also notes that Honda’s V6 delivers strong performance and that the ride and handling are tuned to feel natural and composed.

The performance write-up also points to a tried-and-true 3.5-liter V6 and a 10-speed automatic, which supports the sense that the powertrain is established rather than experimental. On the cost side, the lack of a hybrid option and the absence of AWD both work against long-term ownership costs.

Honda also includes a maintenance perk on some competing models in the broader market discussion, but not here, so you should plan on standard ownership expenses. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the Odyssey’s aging formula may leave you paying more for a minivan that feels less current than rivals.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings at similar prices. Focus on overall condition, because the Odyssey’s value proposition depends heavily on how well the cabin, tech, and safety equipment have been maintained.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2025 Odyssey comes in EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite trim levels. The cabin uses a lot of buttons, knobs, and physical switchgear, and the upper trims add more upscale materials and equipment. The Touring and Elite also add front and rear parking sensors.
• Powertrain: The Odyssey uses a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. You cannot get AWD or a hybrid powertrain.
• Safety package: Every 2025 Odyssey has Honda Sensing, which includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The Odyssey gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and USB-C charging ports throughout the cabin. The system still has dated graphics and the native voice recognition is not especially intuitive.
• Fuel efficiency: The Odyssey is EPA-rated at 22 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Honda Odyssey trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is offered in 4 trim levels: EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite.

Here's the short version:

• EX-L: This is the entry point now that the base EX is gone, so it’s the trim to watch if you want the lowest starting price in the lineup. It gives you the core Odyssey experience, but you should expect fewer extras than the higher trims.
• Sport-L: This is the trim to target if you want a step up in equipment without jumping all the way to the top of the range. It should make the most sense for shoppers who want a better balance of features and price.
• Touring: This trim adds more convenience and includes front and rear parking sensors, which can be useful if you want a more confidence-inspiring family hauler.
• Elite: This is the most fully equipped version, with the highest-end cabin presentation and the most premium feel in the lineup.

The Touring and Elite are the trims with the added parking sensors, so if that feature matters to you, start there.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

The market looks selective rather than overheated, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,664 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.19% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,840, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $35,840 sits slightly below last year's $42,761.

That drop suggests the Odyssey is currently pricing more favorably for buyers than it was a year ago. If you plan to sell later, the softer market means you may not recover as much as owners did when prices were higher.

For a future seller, the key issue is that the Odyssey’s value is being pressured by its aging design and the lack of a hybrid or AWD option. If the market keeps favoring newer, more efficient rivals, resale strength could remain under pressure.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey safe?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey earns a “Poor” rating in a new IIHS evaluation.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2025 Odyssey has Honda Sensing, which includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors.

The safety write-up also notes that Honda’s driver-assistance features generally operate smoothly and unobtrusively, though the lane-departure warning behavior is less preferred than a steering-wheel vibration. The same section also points out that adaptive cruise control can brake too hard in heavier traffic and react a bit slowly when vehicles leave the lane ahead.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.19% compared with last year.
• The 2025 update gives you a new 7-inch digital driver display, an updated 9-inch touchscreen, modernized USB-C charging ports, a smartphone charging pad, and a new Amazon Fire TV rear-seat entertainment system.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Odyssey with the latest cabin updates and you’re comfortable with its aging formula, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is value above all else, a nearby model year may be worth considering, especially if you can find a cleaner or better-equipped example at a lower price.
