Used 2025 Honda Odyssey for Sale near Connecticut

How much does the 2025 Honda Odyssey cost?

Prices have softened 17.63% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,809 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Odysseys to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey earns an expert rating of 6.3/10. The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Form and function.

It remains comfortable, exceptionally practical, and enjoyable to drive, with comfortable seats and plenty of cargo space still central to its appeal as a minivan. At the same time, the updated tech only meets minimum standards and expectations, and the Odyssey is described as falling behind its rivals.

Trade-offs: Hybrid powertrain unavailable; outdated technology.

With 40.3% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive used example.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is presented as a familiar, long-running family minivan with a traditional formula that emphasizes comfort and practicality. Its driving character is described as rewarding for a minivan, with a connected but compliant ride, responsive steering and braking, and nimble handling.

The performance notes also point to a tried-and-true 3.5-liter V6 and a 10-speed automatic, which suggests a straightforward mechanical setup for used buyers to evaluate. Honda’s cost-effectiveness discussion, however, makes clear that the lack of a hybrid option and the absence of AWD can raise ownership costs relative to some rivals.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the Odyssey’s strengths are offset by higher running costs and aging tech, so condition and maintenance history matter more than chasing the newest features.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or a van with lots of family use. Focus on cabin wear, infotainment operation, and how well the driver-assistance features work in real-world driving.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Odyssey comes in EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite trim levels. The cabin uses a lot of buttons, knobs, and physical switchgear, and the upper trims add a more upscale look and feel, while the Touring and Elite bring extra convenience features that the lower trims do not.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Odyssey is front-wheel drive only, and there is no hybrid option.
• Safety package: Every 2025 Odyssey has Honda Sensing, with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The Odyssey uses a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and USB-C charging ports throughout the cabin.
• Fuel efficiency: The Odyssey is rated at 22 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Honda Odyssey trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is offered in 4 trim levels: EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite.

Here's the short version:

• EX-L: This is the entry point now that the base EX is gone, so it’s the trim to watch if you want the lowest-priced Odyssey in this lineup. It gives you the core Odyssey experience, but you’re paying more than last year’s base model for the privilege.
• Sport-L: This trim sits above the EX-L and is the better fit if you want a little more style and equipment without jumping all the way to the top of the range. It makes sense if you want a more appealing middle ground.
• Touring: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more convenience and family-friendly equipment, including front and rear parking sensors. If you want a well-rounded Odyssey without going fully loaded, this is the one to focus on.
• Elite: This is the top trim and the right pick if you want the most upscale Odyssey experience, including the highest level of equipment in the lineup. It’s the one to choose if you want the most features and don’t mind paying for them.

The Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors, which is a useful safety-package upgrade over the lower trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a buyer-friendly moment if you’re shopping for a used Odyssey, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings and waiting for the right price.

• Deal availability: 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,809 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.63% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,842, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $34,842 sits slightly below last year's $42,300.

That drop suggests the used market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you get more van for your money today. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect resale pressure if the Odyssey continues to age without a major redesign or stronger value proposition.

If you buy carefully now, you may benefit from the softer pricing, but you should still think about how the model’s aging tech and missing hybrid option could affect what the next buyer is willing to pay.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey safe?

The 2025 Odyssey earns a rare low rating in a new crash-test evaluation from IIHS, and Honda’s minivan also performs well in NHTSA testing.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2025 Odyssey has Honda Sensing, a collection of driving-assistance systems. Standard safety features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors.

The main caveat is the poor IIHS result in a new evaluation that Honda didn’t engineer the current-generation Odyssey for, so you should weigh that carefully if crash-test performance is a top priority.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.63% compared with last year.
• Honda added a new 7-inch digital driver display, an updated 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, modernized USB-C charging ports, a smartphone charging pad, and a new Amazon Fire TV rear-seat entertainment system.

The bottom line: The 2025 Odyssey makes the most sense if you want the latest version of Honda’s familiar minivan formula and can live with its aging tech and missing hybrid option. If you’re more price-sensitive, a different year may give you a better value proposition, but the 2025 is the one to target if you want the updated equipment and a market that currently favors buyers.
