Used 2025 Honda Civic Type R for Sale near South Carolina

How much does the 2025 Honda Civic Type R cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 289 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2025 Honda Civic Type R a good car?

The 2025 Honda Civic Type R stands out because it turns the familiar Civic formula into a serious front-wheel-drive performance car. Honda’s hot hatch has been refined over more than 25 years of development, and this version is described as the most accomplished yet. It keeps the manual-transmission tradition alive, which is a big part of its appeal for enthusiasts, and it pairs that with a polished chassis, sharp styling, and the kind of hardware buyers expect from a focused driver’s car.

Use it if you want a performance car that still feels usable day to day, with a modern interior, strong equipment, and the kind of balance that makes it appealing beyond pure track duty. The market also shows 36.3% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Honda Civic Type R reliable?

The 2025 Honda Civic Type R also brings a more modern interior than its predecessor, with a nine-inch touchscreen, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charging pad, cruise control, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system. Honda’s reputation for durability carries over here, and the car’s long development history supports its appeal for buyers who want a performance car with everyday usability.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is the possibility of hard use, so condition and maintenance history matter more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Civic Type R?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because performance cars can hide wear that is not obvious in photos. Focus on signs of track use, curb rash, tire wear, brake condition, and whether the car has been maintained consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Civic Type R?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right example.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 289 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,975, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Civic Type R's resale value?

The current average of $47,508 sits slightly below last year's $47,709.

That small decline suggests the market has been stable rather than volatile, which is helpful if you plan to sell later. You are not looking at a steep drop in value, but you should still expect resale to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and whether the car has been modified or driven hard. Clean, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than rougher ones.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Civic Type R or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right path if you want the latest version of this formula and you value a stable market with solid inventory quality. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point while still keeping the core Type R experience intact.
