Is the 2025 Genesis GV70 a good car?

The 2025 Genesis GV70 stands out as a compact luxury crossover that leans hard into style, craftsmanship, and technology. It offers a distinctive design, an expressive cabin, a broad range of equipment, and a strong safety and convenience story, which makes it appealing if you want something less conventional than many rivals.

It also brings generous space for the compact class and a good ride, which helps balance its more upscale presentation. • Price trend: Prices have softened 22.95% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.6% of listings are accident-free.

What is the 2025 Genesis GV70's resale value?

The current average of $36,329 sits slightly below last year's $47,152.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and avoid accident history, you’ll be in a better position to protect value when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.95% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $39,011, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $36,329 average.
• It offers a distinctive take on the small luxury SUV theme with impressive technology.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $52,670, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $36,329 average.
• It adds a wide OLED display and upgraded software.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best primary path if you want the strongest value balance between price, inventory, and condition. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the secondary path to compare because it still delivers the GV70’s style-and-tech appeal at a nearby model-year level.
