Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2025 GMC Hummer EV SUV stands out as an extreme electric SUV with a distinctive mix of size, off-road hardware, and unmistakable styling, and it is best suited to you if you want a highly maneuverable, highly capable EV with a unique presence. It also brings a long list of standout features, including four-wheel steering, air suspension, removable Sky Panels, CrabWalk, and standard Super Cruise. The 2025 GMC Hummer EV SUV is described as mechanically identical to the GMC Hummer EV Pickup, with a heavy-duty feature set that includes four-wheel steering, air suspension, and standard driver-assistance technology. It is also presented as a highly capable, highly maneuverable electric SUV with generous standard equipment.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is accepting the compromises that come with such an overkill machine, especially its size, weight, and efficiency tradeoffs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 GMC Hummer EV SUV?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, interior, charging equipment, and any off-road hardware or movable components that could show wear.

Because this model is built around unusual capability and heavy-duty equipment, focus on signs of hard use, incomplete maintenance, or cosmetic damage before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 GMC Hummer EV SUV?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

• Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 377 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.86% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $69,898, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 GMC Hummer EV SUV's resale value?

The current average of $69,997 sits slightly below last year's $79,420.

That price decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current trend means you should expect value retention to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 GMC Hummer EV SUV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $67,408, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $69,997 average.
• It offers more cargo space and a longer driving range.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current-market availability, clean inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2025 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
