How much does the 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup cost?

Prices have softened 13.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 145 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup a good car?

The 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup stands out because it turns the old Hummer formula into an electric supertruck with a very unusual body style, a five-foot bed, and four-door convertible packaging. It also brings standard giant tires, four-wheel steering that can move the truck sideways, an air suspension system that can raise ground clearance to 16 inches, and styling that evokes the original military HUMVEE.

Its appeal is not just visual. The Hummer EV Pickup uses the industry’s largest battery, and the truck’s extreme mass does not stop it from reaching 60 mph in less than three seconds. Standard equipment is also unusually rich, including a 13.4-inch touchscreen with Google Maps, Assistant, and Play store, plus support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Those traits make it a strong fit if you want an electric truck that feels unlike anything else and you value maneuverability, off-road hardware, and a dramatic presence over conventional practicality. 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup reliable?

The 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup is defined more by its distinctive engineering and equipment than by any simple, conventional reliability story. It brings a rich standard feature set, serious off-road hardware, and an electric powertrain that is built around a very large battery.

At the same time, the truck is extremely heavy and very inefficient, and braking requires long stops at high speeds. Interior materials are also described as sub-par.

For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is less about a single obvious flaw and more about living with a complex, heavy, highly specialized truck that may be costly to keep in top shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any truck you are seriously considering, especially because this is a high-value, highly specialized EV. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the brakes, suspension, tires, and charging-related systems, since the truck’s weight and performance can put extra stress on wear items. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, because a clean-looking listing is not a substitute for confirming how the truck has been used.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 145 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $73,482, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup's resale value?

The current average of $73,906 sits slightly below last year's $85,873.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you may reduce your depreciation risk, but the truck’s niche appeal means future demand will likely stay more specialized than mainstream. For a future seller, condition, mileage, and equipment will matter a lot when it comes time to list.

Should I buy a 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.94% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 makes sense if you want the Hummer EV Pickup’s distinctive design, rich standard equipment, and strong used-market availability at a softer price point. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still be worth comparing, but the 2025 is the better starting point when you want the strongest mix of inventory, condition, and current pricing.
