How much does the 2025 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 16.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,535 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford Bronco earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It stands out by blending throwback styling with modern off-road hardware, and it is described as a fully modern off-roader under the skin. That makes it a strong fit if you want personality and real trail capability rather than an SUV that only looks rugged.

The trade-offs are clear: poor fuel economy and advanced safety features that are not standard. It also asks you to think carefully about how you will use it day to day, especially if you want something comfortable for regular street and highway driving.

31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Bronco is presented as a modern off-roader with broad everyday appeal, and the expert review notes that it is more comfortable on streets and highways than the Jeep Wrangler. Its performance setup also points to durability-minded hardware, including standard four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case and off-road-focused equipment.

The expert review also notes that the Bronco’s base engine offers plenty of power in the city and on the highway, even with lifted suspension packages. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its rugged capability and lower efficiency can make it more demanding to live with over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has been used off-road. Focus on signs of hard use, uneven wear, and any evidence that the removable roof, doors, or suspension components have been stressed.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model looks pretty drab and is available in both two- and four-door body styles, while the Big Bend is a worthwhile upgrade for most buyers. The Outer Banks adds leather seating surfaces and a heated steering wheel, and the Heritage Edition leans harder into the retro look with the Sasquatch package standard.
• Powertrain: Most models use either a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or an optional 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6. The four-cylinder offers plenty of power, while the V6 adds output and is mandatory with the automatic transmission.
• Safety package: Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim level and standard on the Big Bend and higher trim levels. It includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.
• Infotainment: You get a 12-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a seven-speaker audio system with a subwoofer. A second 12-inch digital gauge cluster is standard across the lineup.
• Fuel efficiency: The base four-cylinder with a manual transmission is rated at 18 mpg city, 21 mpg highway and 19 mpg combined. The review also notes that the Bronco is not very efficient no matter which engine or model you pick.

Which 2025 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Bronco is offered in 7 trim levels: base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Heritage, Badlands, Stroppe Edition, Raptor.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it looks pretty drab and leaves Co-Pilot360 optional. It makes sense only if you want the lowest starting point and plan to add equipment carefully.
• Big Bend: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it is only a little more expensive than the base model and adds Co-Pilot360 standard. It is also available with useful packages that broaden its appeal.
• Outer Banks: This trim adds a more upscale feel with leather seating surfaces, a heated steering wheel, and available turbo V6 power. It suits you if you want more comfort without jumping all the way to the high-end off-road models.
• Heritage: This trim leans hardest into the retro look and includes the Sasquatch package standard. It is a good fit if style matters as much as capability.
• Badlands: This is the more serious off-road choice, with bigger tires, an upgraded suspension package, and a classier interior. It also adds more advanced 4WD hardware.
• Stroppe Edition: This two-door model is marketed as race-ready and is aimed at buyers who want a more specialized, high-priced Bronco with desert-terrain attitude.
• Raptor: This is the most extreme Bronco, with an ultra-wide body kit, huge tires, and dramatically lifted suspension. It is the one to choose if maximum capability is your priority.

Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim level and standard on the Big Bend and higher trim levels.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,535 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,720, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $47,243 sits slightly below last year's $56,835.

That price drop suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more selectively now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, condition, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Because the Bronco has strong buyer appeal and a distinctive identity, well-kept examples should continue to draw attention. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2025 Ford Bronco earns top “Good” ratings from the IIHS for its small overlap front, moderate overlap front, and updated side-impact crash tests. It earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and three-star ratings in rollover testing from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

The Bronco does not come standard with Co-Pilot360, which is optional on the base trim level and standard on the Big Bend and higher trim levels. That suite includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.

A notable caveat is the IIHS headlight result, which is only rated “Marginal.” Post-collision braking is standard even on the base model, along with hill-start assist and hill-descent control.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a broad range of variants and keeps the Bronco’s modern off-road hardware and everyday usability.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,366, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $47,243 average.
• It adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current-market availability, softened pricing, and broad trim choice, the 2025 is the better primary pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the more budget-friendly path.

How does the 2025 Ford Bronco compare to the 2025 Jeep Wrangler?

Expert Pros & Cons (per CarGurus review team)

2025 Ford Bronco:

• Pros: Stylish design, Fun to drive, Impressive off-road capability.
• Cons: Poor fuel economy, Advanced safety features are not standard, Poor value for money.

2025 Jeep Wrangler:

• Pros: Fun to drive, Impressive off-roading capability, Removable top and doors.
• Cons: Noisy, Poor ride quality, Poor value for money.

Our experts score the 2025 Ford Bronco 6.8/10 and the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 5.3/10. The Bronco is the better all-around choice if you want a more comfortable daily driver with strong off-road ability. The Wrangler still appeals if you prioritize removable body features and a more traditional off-road feel, but it gives up ride quality and refinement.
