How much does the 2025 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 17.93% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,268 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford Bronco earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

The Bronco stands out for its throwback styling, modern off-road hardware, and broader everyday appeal than some rivals. It is described as more comfortable on streets and highways than the Jeep Wrangler, while still delivering strong trail capability and a wide range of variants.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and advanced safety features that are not standard. It also asks you to think carefully about how you will use it day to day, especially if you want something that feels easy to live with as a daily driver.

With 33.5% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Bronco is presented as a modern off-roader with real capability rather than a vehicle that only looks rugged. Its standard four-wheel drive, two-speed transfer case, and independent front suspension point to a design built for both trail use and pavement comfort.

Its performance setup also supports durability-minded ownership, with a base turbocharged four-cylinder, an available turbocharged V6, and off-road-focused hardware such as locking differentials and a front sway-bar disconnect on certain versions. The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps reduce early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is that its capability and complexity can make upkeep and daily use more demanding than a simpler SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific Bronco you are considering has not had hidden damage or heavy off-road use. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important if the truck has been modified, fitted with larger tires, or used on rough terrain. Focus on overall condition, since trim and package differences can change both comfort and capability.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model looks pretty drab and is available in both two- and four-door body styles, while the Big Bend is only a little more expensive and is worth the upgrade for most buyers. The Outer Banks adds a more upscale feel, and the Heritage, Badlands, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor each push the Bronco further toward retro style or serious capability.
• Powertrain: Most models use a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while an available turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 increases output to 330 hp and 415 lb-ft. The Bronco Raptor gets a unique, more powerful engine of its own.
• Safety package: Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims. It includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.
• Infotainment: You get a 12-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a second 12-inch digital gauge cluster. The system also includes access to Ford’s AppLink catalog of compatible applications.
• Fuel efficiency: The base four-cylinder with the manual transmission is rated at 18 mpg city, 21 mpg highway and 19 mpg combined, and the automatic adds 1 mpg to combined and highway fuel economy. The Bronco Raptor is rated at 15 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Bronco is offered in 7 trim levels: base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Heritage, Badlands, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it looks pretty drab and leaves Co-Pilot360 as an option rather than standard equipment. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and plan to add only the essentials.
• Big Bend: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it is only a little more expensive than the base model and makes Co-Pilot360 standard. It also opens the door to useful packages, making it the smart middle ground.
• Outer Banks: This trim adds a more upscale feel, leather seating surfaces with front-row heat, a heated steering wheel, and available turbo V6 power. It suits you if you want more comfort without jumping all the way to the high-end off-road models.
• Heritage: This trim leans hardest into the retro look and includes the Sasquatch package as standard equipment. It is a good fit if style and off-road hardware matter equally to you.
• Badlands: This is the choice if you want stronger trail capability, bigger tires, an upgraded suspension package, and a classier interior. It also adds a front sway-bar disconnect and is the most obvious pick for serious off-road use.
• Stroppe Edition: This two-door-only model is marketed as race-ready and is aimed at buyers who want a more specialized desert-running personality. It sits near the top of the range and is priced accordingly.
• Raptor: This is the most extreme Bronco, with an ultra-wide body kit, huge tires, and dramatically lifted suspension. Buy it only if you want the most capability and are comfortable with the highest price.

Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

The market looks selective, which gives you room to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,268 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.93% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,727, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $47,344 sits slightly below last year's $57,690.

That drop suggests the Bronco has become more accessible to used buyers, which can help demand from shoppers who were priced out before. For a future seller, the current market is a reminder that pricing discipline matters, especially if your Bronco is a higher-trim or well-equipped example.

The year’s strong styling, off-road appeal, and broad trim range should help keep interest steady among buyers who want a distinctive SUV. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2025 Ford Bronco earns Good ratings from the IIHS for small overlap front, moderate overlap front, and updated side-impact crash tests. It earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and three-star ratings in rollover testing from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims. It includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. Post-collision braking is standard even on the base model, along with hill-start assist and hill-descent control.

The IIHS also gave the Bronco’s headlights a Marginal rating, so lighting performance is a point to check carefully if you drive often at night.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 Bronco combines retro styling, modern off-road hardware, and broader everyday comfort than the Jeep Wrangler.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,674, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $47,344 average.
• It adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system.

The bottom line: choose the 2025 if you want the stronger current-market mix of inventory, pricing, and feature content. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the better value play, especially if you find one in good condition with the equipment you want.
