Used 2025 Dodge Durango for Sale nearSaint Augustine, FL

How much does the 2025 Dodge Durango cost?

Prices have softened 20.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,319 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango a good car?

The 2025 Dodge Durango earns a 7.17/10 expert rating, and its strongest appeal is that it remains a roomy, comfortable, and practical three-row SUV with a modern infotainment system.

The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

That makes it a strong fit if you want a family-friendly SUV that still has personality and available V8 power. The trade-offs are clear, though: it has an unquenchable thirst for fuel and a basic package of safety features, and its crash-test performance is unimpressive. Even so, the Durango’s mix of utility and attitude helps it age better than you might expect for a vehicle this old.

Good and great deals account for 39.6% of listings, so you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango reliable?

The 2025 Dodge Durango is presented as an older design that has aged remarkably well, but its age still matters when you’re thinking about long-term ownership.

Its performance story is straightforward: the lineup includes a 295-horsepower V6, a 360-hp V8, and a 710-hp supercharged V8, all paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. That simplicity can be appealing, and the Durango’s comfortable seating and practical packaging add to its everyday usability.

The cost-effectiveness notes also point to genuine value in the GT and R/T, which suggests the lower trims can make sense if you want the Durango’s character without stretching into the pricier performance models. Still, the SUV’s age, fuel appetite, and basic safety equipment mean you should expect more wear-and-tear risk than you would with a newer design.

If you buy used, prioritize maintenance records and a careful inspection, because age-related issues are the main ownership concern here.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Dodge Durango?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and focus your inspection on condition, maintenance, and any signs of hard use. Pay extra attention to how the vehicle presents inside and out, since the Durango’s appeal depends heavily on whether it has been kept up well.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GT is the base version and starts with a V6 and rear-wheel drive, while the SRT Hellcat adds the most aggressive visual and cabin treatment, including a satin black hood, different wheels, dark badges, black exhaust tips, dark red premium Nappa leather seat faces, a suede headliner, a leather and suede steering wheel wrap, and forged carbon fiber trim. The GT is the value-oriented choice, while the Hellcat is for buyers who want maximum attitude and performance presence.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes a 295-horsepower 3.6-liter V6, a 360-hp 5.7-liter V8, and a 710-hp supercharged 6.2-liter V8. All use an eight-speed automatic transmission, with AWD standard on the R/T and SRT Hellcat and optional on the GT.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Available upgrades add adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, front parking sensors, and trailer detection for the blind-spot warning system.
• Infotainment: Every 2025 Durango gets a Uconnect 5 system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, native navigation, SiriusXM 360L, Dodge Connect and SiriusXM Guardian services, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, dual-phone Bluetooth pairing, Alexa compatibility, and wireless smartphone charging.
• Fuel efficiency: The SRT Hellcat returns 12/17/13 mpg in city/highway/combined driving.

Which 2025 Dodge Durango trim should I buy?

The 2025 Dodge Durango is offered in 3 trim levels: GT, R/T, and SRT Hellcat.

Here's the short version:

• GT: This is the entry point and the best-value trim if you want the Durango’s roomy interior, modern infotainment, and lower starting price without jumping into V8 territory.
• R/T: This is the smart step-up if you want more muscle than the GT, since it adds a V8 and standard AWD while staying more approachable than the Hellcat.
• SRT Hellcat: This is the choice if you want the full performance experience, with the 710-hp supercharged V8, performance hardware, and the most dramatic character in the lineup.

The safety package is basic by modern standards, so even higher trims don’t turn the Durango into a class-leading safety pick.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Dodge Durango?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough price softness to create opportunities.

• Deal availability: 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,319 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.95% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,889, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $33,889 sits slightly below last year's $42,870.

That drop suggests the Durango has moved into a more buyer-friendly pricing zone, which can help you if you’re shopping used now. For a future seller, though, it means you should expect softer resale conditions than a year ago unless your vehicle is especially well equipped or exceptionally clean.

Because the model is in its final year and has a loyal following, well-kept examples should still hold appeal. Even so, the current trend shows that buyers have more leverage than sellers right now.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango safe?

The 2025 Dodge Durango earns a four-star overall rating combined with a three-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety feature list is short by modern standards, with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Available upgrades include adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, front parking sensors, and trailer detection for the blind-spot warning system.

The main caution is that the Durango’s small-overlap frontal-impact performance is a concern, and its overall safety package trails newer rivals.

Should I buy a 2025 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.95% compared with last year.
• It’s the final-year Durango, with the lineup trimmed to the GT, R/T, and SRT Hellcat.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the Durango’s old-school V8 appeal while remaining a current model.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of price leverage and selection, the 2025 is the stronger buy right now. If you’d rather have the newest version of the same basic formula and don’t mind paying more, the 2026 is the cleaner long-term choice. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2025’s softer pricing makes it the more compelling path.
