Used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale nearMilford, CT

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 2.89% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,658 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

The 2025 Traverse fits shoppers who want a larger midsize three-row SUV with stylish design, plenty of cargo space, and strong everyday utility. Chevrolet’s updates for 2025 broaden its appeal, including standard trailering equipment and a new upscale trim, while the available towing capacity reaches 5,000 pounds.

The trade-offs are clear: the engine note is irritating, the interior materials feel cheap, and value for money is a weak point. Even so, the combination of broad capability and strong feature appeal makes it a compelling choice if you prioritize space, tech, and family usefulness.

Good and great deals account for 37.4% of listings, so there is meaningful room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Traverse’s reliability case leans on its broad standard equipment and the fact that Chevrolet has built in a lot of everyday usability. The expert evaluation also points to good fuel economy for the segment and strong cargo space, both of which support practical ownership.

Its powertrain is described as unrefined, though it still delivers plenty of power and controlled acceleration when all-wheel drive is engaged. Chevrolet also includes three years of access to Super Cruise with the Enhanced Driving Package, which adds convenience for long-distance driving.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the same quality and usability complaints that show up in testing may continue to affect satisfaction over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a thorough inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with added equipment. Focus on interior condition, control usability, and signs of hard use, since the cabin materials and day-to-day ergonomics are part of the model’s weaker points.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The available trims are LT, Z71, High Country, and RS. The base-level experience is not the focus here, so pay attention to how much equipment you want beyond the more mainstream trims. The Z71 is the off-road version, while the High Country is the upscale addition for 2025.
• Powertrain: The Traverse uses a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. It delivers strong acceleration, but the engine note is unrefined and front-wheel-drive operation can bring wheel spin and torque steer.
• Safety package: Every 2025 Traverse includes a broad standard safety suite with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection braking, rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and a Safety Alert Seat. The Driver Confidence Package adds a high-definition surround-view camera system, traffic sign recognition, and rear pedestrian alert, while the Enhanced Driving Package adds Super Cruise and remote-parking technology.
• Infotainment: The standard 17.7-inch touchscreen includes Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, Alexa compatibility, OnStar connected services, and Wi-Fi hotspot access. An 11-inch digital instrument panel is also standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert evaluation says fuel economy is good for the segment, and the test vehicle returned 21 mpg in combined driving, with a 21.5 mpg test average.

Which 2025 Chevrolet Traverse trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Traverse is offered in 4 trim levels: LT, Z71, High Country, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the trim to start with if you want the broadest balance of equipment and value. It gives you the core Traverse experience without pushing into the more specialized or expensive versions.
• Z71: Choose this if you want the most rugged character and the extra capability that comes with it. It adds off-road suspension, all-terrain tires, a skid plate, red tow hooks, a more capable Twin Clutch AWD system, Terrain mode, hill descent control, and improved ground clearance.
• High Country: This is the upscale new trim for 2025, so it makes sense if you want the most premium-feeling Traverse in the lineup.
• RS: Pick this if you want the sportier-looking top-end flavor of the Traverse lineup.

The standard safety package is generous across the lineup, and the available Driver Confidence Package and Enhanced Driving Package add even more advanced driver-assistance tech.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,658 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.89% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,010, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $39,552 sits slightly below last year's $40,729.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy now but may also temper near-term resale gains if you plan to sell soon. For future sellers, the current trend implies you may need to price competitively to move the vehicle quickly.

The Traverse’s strong feature content and broad appeal should help support demand, especially for shoppers who want a roomy three-row SUV with lots of technology. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 adds standard trailering equipment and a new High Country trim.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,593, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $39,552 average.
• It brought more standard driver aids and a larger touchscreen.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It emphasizes a spacious interior, a pleasant ride, and lots of safety equipment.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version with the strongest mix of tech, safety, and standard towing convenience, the 2025 is the better target. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 makes sense if you’re comparing broader family-vehicle strengths and can live with its compromises.
