Should I buy a 2025 BMW i5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.06% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $51,251, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $58,032 average.
• The 2024 offers strong performance, good range, and a comfortable cabin.

The bottom line:
You should start with the 2025 if you want the current-year market and a healthy share of deal-priced listings. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value path and still delivers the core strengths you’d want in this EV sedan.
