What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW X4?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the car’s actual condition and equipment. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for wear, prior repairs, and any signs that the vehicle has been used harder than the listing suggests. Focus especially on overall condition, since a strong accident-free rate does not replace a careful hands-on review.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW X4?

This is a favorable time to shop, with pricing down from last year and a healthy mix of inventory and deal opportunities.

• Deal availability: 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 417 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $48,412, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW X4's resale value?

The current average of $48,412 sits slightly below last year's $52,831.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. If you plan to sell later, the current softness means your eventual resale value will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the vehicle is maintained. A well-kept example should hold up better than one with visible wear or a spotty history.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW X4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.37% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better choice if you want to shop a favorable market with strong inventory quality and a meaningful share of competitively priced listings. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
