How much does the 2025 BMW 7 Series cost?

Is the 2025 BMW 7 Series a good car?

The 2025 BMW 7 Series offers a rare mix of rear-seat comfort, advanced technology, and strong straight-line performance. It has excellent rear passenger room, a comfortable but sporty ride and handling balance, and a wide range of powertrains, including mild hybrids, plug-in hybrid versions, and an all-electric model.

For you, that means this is a strong fit if you want a flagship sedan that still feels driver-focused while delivering luxury-car comfort and tech. The tradeoffs are expensive options, high depreciation, and a poor turning circle, so it works best if those compromises fit your priorities. 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 BMW 7 Series reliable?

The 2025 BMW 7 Series leans heavily into advanced technology and a broad powertrain lineup, which is part of its appeal. It also brings a large, tech-heavy cabin with features such as a digital cluster, curved infotainment display, wireless smartphone integration, over-the-air updates, and available rear-seat theater amenities.

For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about complexity and upkeep than simple mechanical basics. If you plan to keep one for a while, you should expect higher repair and maintenance exposure than you would with a simpler luxury sedan.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW 7 Series?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s equipment and service history match the listing. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the electronics, suspension, and any high-value comfort features, since this is a technology-rich luxury sedan where condition matters a lot.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW 7 Series?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 618 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.64% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $81,803, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW 7 Series's resale value?

The current average of $81,967 sits slightly below last year's $99,527.

That drop suggests the market has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help you as a buyer today. If you sell later, though, the same trend means you should expect continued value loss, especially because this is a high-end luxury sedan with expensive options and a broad, tech-heavy feature set.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW 7 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.64% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $68,143, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $81,967 average.
• The 2024 offers a spacious, luxurious cabin with potent powertrain options.

The bottom line: choose the 2025 if you want the newer market position and are comfortable paying more for it. If your priority is value, the 2024 is the better starting point because it costs less and still delivers the core flagship-luxury experience.
