How much does the 2025 BMW 7 Series cost?

Prices have softened 19.55% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2025 BMW 7 Series a good car?

The 2025 BMW 7 Series stands out as a full-size luxury sedan that leans hard into technology and powertrain variety. BMW positions the 7 Series as its flagship sedan, and this generation continues that role with a lineup that includes 48-volt mild hybrids, a plug-in hybrid, and a zero-emission all-electric model.

For you, that means the 7 Series makes the most sense if you want a large luxury sedan with a deeply tech-focused cabin, strong engines, and multiple electrified choices. It also brings rear-seat comfort and advanced equipment expected of a flagship, while still preserving BMW’s sporting character.

32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are meaningful opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 BMW 7 Series reliable?

The 2025 BMW 7 Series is built around a broad mix of drivetrains and a highly advanced feature set, which makes it appealing if you want a flagship sedan with a lot of capability and technology. BMW also gives it serious chassis hardware and a cabin packed with premium equipment.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a complex luxury sedan can be expensive to keep in top shape, especially if you plan to own it beyond the warranty period.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW 7 Series?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s equipment and service records match the listing. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the electronics, suspension, and interior features, since this is a highly complex luxury sedan. Focus on overall condition and how well the car’s advanced systems operate, not just mileage or price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW 7 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 601 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.55% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $80,604, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW 7 Series's resale value?

The current average of $80,607 sits slightly below last year's $100,196.

That drop suggests the market has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help you as a buyer today. If you plan to sell later, the 7 Series will still face the usual luxury-sedan depreciation pressure, so condition, mileage, and equipment will matter a lot when it comes time to trade or list it.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW 7 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.55% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $67,580, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $80,607 average.
• It adds the 750e plug-in hybrid and a lightly updated infotainment system.

The bottom line: choose the 2025 if you want the stronger current-market mix of inventory, cleaner listings, and a softer price trend. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the better value path, especially if its lower average price fits your budget more comfortably.
