Used 2025 Audi SQ5 for Sale nearPittsburgh, PA

Is the 2025 Audi SQ5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi SQ5 earns a 7.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

It’s aimed at you if you want a compact luxury crossover that feels more engaging than a typical sport-tuned SUV while still staying comfortable and practical. The redesign adds a new vehicle architecture, more power, added practicality, and next-generation technology, and the standard body style plus Sportback option give you two ways to fit that brief.

The trade-offs are clear: poor fuel economy and a lack of hands-free driving tech. Even so, the SQ5’s sporty character, upscale cabin, and strong everyday usability make it a compelling choice if you want performance without giving up crossover convenience. 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Audi SQ5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi SQ5 is presented as a well-rounded, modern luxury SUV with strong everyday usability, but its reliability story is shaped more by its technology and driver-assistance behavior than by any mechanical weakness. The turbocharged V6, dual-clutch transmission, and Quattro all-wheel drive are described as satisfying and sure-footed, and the SUV remained stable in wet conditions during testing.

The performance notes also point to a generally composed powertrain and chassis setup, with only minor complaints about light steering, occasional restart delay in traffic, and some uneven low-speed power delivery from the DCT. On the ownership side, Audi’s warranty coverage is matched by the segment, and Audi is adding complimentary scheduled service for 2026.

The bigger long-term concern for used buyers is the SQ5’s driver-assistance behavior, which includes unwanted braking events and trust issues with the system.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi SQ5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim example with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, how the driver-assistance systems behave, and whether the cabin tech and controls work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premium trim gets the lower-grade leather with Dinamica artificial suede inserts, while Premium Plus and Prestige add more upscale equipment and presentation. The base trim also misses some of the higher-end cabin and tech touches that make the SQ5 feel especially premium.
• Powertrain: The SQ5 uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 362 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and Quattro all-wheel drive. It’s quick, and the official EPA fuel economy rating is 22 mpg combined.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic high-beam headlights, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a semi-autonomous parking assistance system, and safe exit assist. Premium Plus adds Adaptive Cruise Assist with lane-centering assist and a surround-view camera system.
• Infotainment: Premium and Premium Plus trims get an 11.9-inch digital instrument display and a 14.5-inch OLED touchscreen, while Prestige adds a 10.9-inch passenger screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with a navigation system and Audi Assistant.
• Fuel efficiency: The official EPA fuel economy rating is 22 mpg combined, and testing returned 20.4 mpg.

Which 2025 Audi SQ5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi SQ5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, and it gives you the SQ5’s core performance, standard all-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension, and the main cabin and safety tech. It makes sense if you want the SQ5 experience without paying for extras you may not need.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim because it adds Adaptive Cruise Assist with lane-centering and a surround-view camera system, plus the 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system and configurable head-up display. If you want the strongest mix of luxury, convenience, and daily usability, this is the one to target.
• Prestige: This trim is for you if you want the most upscale SQ5, including the passenger touchscreen and Dynamic Interaction Lighting, along with the most premium cabin presentation and customization features.

Audi’s safety package is strongest on Premium Plus, where the added driver-assistance and camera features make the SUV easier to live with.

Is the 2025 Audi SQ5 safe?

The 2025 Audi SQ5 had no IIHS or NHTSA safety ratings released at the time of publication.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes automatic high-beam headlights, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a semi-autonomous parking assistance system, and safe exit assist. Premium Plus adds Adaptive Cruise Assist with lane-centering assist and a surround-view camera system.

The main caveat is the SQ5’s driver-assistance behavior: the system can issue unnecessary warnings and even brake unexpectedly, which is a real concern if you’re relying on it in traffic.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi SQ5 or consider a different year?

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• The redesigned SQ5 adds a new vehicle architecture, more power, added practicality, and next-generation technology.
