With the 2024 Audi SQ5, you do not have to decide between performance and versatility. The SQ5 is an athletic compact SUV with sharp handling and a refined, spacious interior. ## What’s New for the 2024 Audi SQ5 Audi adds a heated steering wheel for 2024, as well as standard adaptive cruise control and remote start from the MyAudi smartphone app. ## Design The SQ5 visually differentiates itself from the rest of the Q5 lineup with a black grille and 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in summer performance tires. Trims for the SQ5 are Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. If you opt for the range-topping Prestige, the SQ5 comes with Audi’s Matrix-design LED headlights with headlight washers. ## Powertrain The beating heart of the SQ5 is its turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. It produces 349 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through an eight-speed automatic transmission to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD). This setup allows the SQ5 to go from zero to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds on the way to a top speed of 155 mph. With all-season tires, that top speed comes down to 130 mph. EPA fuel economy estimates for the SQ5 are 19 mpg city, 24 highway, and 21 combined. The SQ5 requires premium fuel. ## Interior Standard features on the 2024 SQ5 Premium include push-button start, tri-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, and leather-and-Dinamica (microsuede) upholstery. A Convenience Package is available on this trim, with a heated steering wheel, remote keyless entry, and driver’s seat memory settings. Stepping up to the Premium Plus adds the contents of the Convenience Package and a panoramic sunroof. The Prestige includes heated rear seats. An adaptive air suspension is available on the SQ5. The SQ5 provides up to 54 cubic feet of cargo space, accessed via a standard power liftgate. With the rear seats in use, the SQ5 has 25.8 cubic feet of rear cargo space. ## Technology No matter which trim you select, the SQ5 comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It has sharp graphics, an intuitive layout, and standard wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. It also comes standard with two USB ports, wireless device charging, a 10-speaker stereo, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The Premium Plus trim adds satellite radio, and a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument panel, which Audi calls the Virtual Cockpit. This trim also comes with a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system. The range-topping Prestige adds navigation to the infotainment system. ## Safety Standard driver-assistance features on the 2024 SQ5 include automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane-departure warning, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Premium Plus trim adds a 360-degree parking camera system and traffic-jam assist, which is adaptive cruise control that can stop and go with the flow of traffic. The Prestige trim adds a head-up display. ## Pricing At the time of this writing, base MSRP for the 2024 Audi SQ5 is $57,000 for the Premium trim. The Premium Plus starts at $61,000, and the Prestige starts at $66,100. The Audi SQ5 is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile limited and powertrain warranty.
