How much does the 2025 Audi SQ5 cost?

Is the 2025 Audi SQ5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi SQ5 earns a 7.17/10 expert rating.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

It stands out as a compact luxury crossover SUV that blends sporty performance, upscale equipment, and added practicality, and it is offered in both standard and Sportback body styles. The trade-offs are clear: poor fuel economy and a lack of hands-free driving tech. Even so, the overall package is described as fun to drive, comfortable, and impressive on technology.

37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Audi SQ5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi SQ5 is presented as a redesigned model with a new vehicle architecture, added practicality, and next-generation technology, which points to a more modern foundation than the outgoing version. It also uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and Quattro all-wheel drive, all of which are standard.

The performance notes describe it as sure-footed in wet conditions, stable, and composed, with strong grip and well-controlled body motion. The cost-effectiveness notes also say Audi is adding complimentary scheduled service for 2026, which is a useful ownership perk to keep in mind if you are comparing long-term running costs.

For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is that the driver-assistance tech may be frustrating if you expect it to work seamlessly every day.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi SQ5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake condition, and whether the technology and driver-assistance systems behave as expected during a test drive.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige each add more luxury and tech, with the lower trims using a lower-grade leather and the higher trims adding more upscale materials and customization. The base trim is still well equipped, but you give up some of the richer cabin touches and premium features found higher up.
• Powertrain: The SQ5 uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 362 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. It is quick, with a 4.6-second zero-to-60 time, and the official EPA rating is 22 mpg combined.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic high-beam headlights, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a semi-autonomous parking assistance system, and safe exit assist. Premium Plus adds Adaptive Cruise Assist with lane-centering assist and a surround-view camera system.
• Infotainment: Premium and Premium Plus include an 11.9-inch digital instrument display and a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, while Prestige adds a 10.9-inch passenger screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with a navigation system and Audi Assistant.
• Fuel efficiency: The official EPA fuel economy rating is 22 mpg combined, and testing returned 20.4 mpg.

Which 2025 Audi SQ5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi SQ5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core SQ5 experience with the turbo V6, Quattro all-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension, and the standard digital cockpit and infotainment setup. It makes sense if you want the performance hardware without stretching for luxury extras.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds the 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D surround-sound system, a configurable head-up display, Adaptive Cruise Assist with lane-centering, and a surround-view camera system. If you want the most useful upgrades without jumping to the top trim, this is the one to target.
• Prestige: This trim is for you if you want the most upscale cabin and the most visual flair, including the passenger display and Dynamic Interaction Lighting. It is the right pick if you care most about luxury presentation and extra wow factor.

Audi’s safety package is strongest on the Premium Plus trim, where the added lane-centering and surround-view camera make everyday driving and parking easier.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi SQ5?

The market looks moderately favorable if you are a selective buyer.

• Deal availability: 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 284 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $55,811, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi SQ5's resale value?

The current average of $55,811 sits slightly below last year's $59,578.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy more confidently today. If you plan to sell later, the current trend may mean you should expect some depreciation pressure rather than a quick rebound.

For a future seller, the upside is that the SQ5 remains a desirable performance-luxury SUV with strong equipment and broad appeal. The downside is that its current pricing trend shows buyers have more leverage now, which can limit resale strength if market conditions stay soft.

Is the 2025 Audi SQ5 safe?

The 2025 Audi SQ5 does not have published IIHS or NHTSA crash-test ratings in the source material.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include automatic high-beam headlights, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a semi-autonomous parking assistance system, and a safe exit assist system. Premium Plus adds Adaptive Cruise Assist with lane-centering assist and a surround-view camera system.

The main caveat is the driver-assistance behavior: the SQ5 lacks hands-free traffic jam assist and hands-free driving tech, and the system can issue unnecessary warnings or even brake unexpectedly.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi SQ5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.32% compared with last year.
• The redesigned SQ5 brings a new vehicle architecture, more power, added practicality, and next-generation technology.

The bottom line: If you want the newest redesign with strong performance, upscale tech, and a market that is giving you some negotiating room, the 2025 is the right path. If your priority is simply spending less, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but you should expect to give up some of the redesign’s freshness and tech appeal.
