Used 2025 Audi Q5 for Sale nearCarbondale, IL

How much does the 2025 Audi Q5 cost?

Prices have softened 7.82% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,278 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q5 earns a 7.2/10 from our experts.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

It is a compact luxury SUV that aims to balance comfort, standard all-wheel drive, and easy-to-use technology with a more modern redesign. The trade-offs are clear: the design may be polarizing, the transmission is irritating, and the high base price can make it harder to justify if you want maximum value.

The market still shows 38.3% good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is presented as a polished, well-equipped SUV that leans on standard all-wheel drive, a premium-feeling interior, and a broad set of standard features. Its powertrain is described as competent rather than especially quick, and the chassis tuning is aimed more at comfort and balance than sporty driving.

Audi says the Q5 gets 25 mpg combined with 22 mpg city and 30 mpg highway, which supports its role as an everyday luxury SUV rather than a performance-first choice. The model also carries a four-year/50,000-mile new vehicle warranty and equivalent powertrain coverage, which helps with early ownership confidence.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a high-priced luxury SUV can become expensive to own if repairs or electronics issues show up after warranty coverage ends.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are comparing multiple trims or higher-mileage examples. Focus on condition, feature content, and whether the equipment level matches the price you are being asked to pay.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige are the main trims, and the base Premium is the one most likely to leave you wanting more. Premium Plus and Prestige add LED Headlights Plus, while Prestige also gets programmable OLED taillights, so the higher trims feel more complete and better equipped.
• Powertrain: The base Q5 uses a 2.0-liter turbo-four with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and Quattro all-wheel drive. The transmission can feel rough off the line, and turbo lag is noticeable.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assist features include adaptive cruise control, active front assist, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and exit alert. Premium Plus adds a 360-degree camera system and adaptive cruise assist.
• Infotainment: Standard equipment includes an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch central touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Premium Plus adds four USB-C ports and a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, while Prestige adds a 10.9-inch front-passenger screen.
• Fuel efficiency: Audi estimates 25 mpg combined, 22 mpg city, and 30 mpg highway for the Q5.

Which 2025 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, but it is also the trim most likely to feel stripped relative to the rest of the lineup. You get the core Q5 experience, yet the higher trims add meaningful lighting and tech upgrades that make the SUV feel more complete.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise assist, four USB-C ports, and the 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. If you want the strongest mix of equipment and price, this is the one to target.
• Prestige: Choose this if you want the most upscale Q5 experience, including the front-passenger touchscreen and available air suspension. It is the most feature-rich choice, but it makes the already high price harder to ignore.

Premium Plus and Prestige also get LED Headlights Plus, while Prestige adds programmable OLED taillights.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q5?

The market looks moderate and selective, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,278 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.82% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $42,856, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $42,856 sits slightly below last year's $46,491.

That decline suggests the Q5 is currently in a softer pricing phase, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means you should expect resale values to reflect the model's high starting price and the market's current discounting.

If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and avoid overpaying up front, you may be better positioned when it is time to sell. But the current trend also shows that luxury SUV pricing can move quickly, so holding value is not guaranteed.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include adaptive cruise control, active front assist with automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, swerve and turn aids, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and exit alert. Premium Plus models add a 360-degree camera system and adaptive cruise assist, which gives you a more advanced safety and convenience setup.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.82% compared with last year.
• It brings a first redesign since 2018, with updated design language and tech.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It leans heavily on screens and tech to stay competitive.

The bottom line: If you want the newer redesign and can find a well-priced example, the 2025 makes sense. If you are especially price-sensitive, the softer market and strong inventory make it worth shopping carefully before deciding whether to step up to the next year.
