How much does the 2025 Audi A5 cost?

Is the 2025 Audi A5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi A5 stands out as a stylish luxury car that blends premium feel, useful cargo space, and modern tech in a single package. The hatchback body gives you broader appeal than the coupe-focused versions that came before it, and the redesigned shape also brings more room inside.

You get a practical liftback layout with 22.6 cubic feet of cargo space, or up to 36.6 cubic feet with the rear seat folded down. Inside, the A5 leans heavily into digital features, with a standard 11.9-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit, a 14.5-inch central touchscreen, and an available 10.9-inch passenger display.

The market also looks reasonably shopper-friendly, with 39.3% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Audi A5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi A5 is presented as a polished, well-equipped luxury car with a strong emphasis on standard technology and driver assistance. It also earned a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

That combination points to a car that should feel reassuring in daily use, especially if you value a modern cabin and a comprehensive feature set. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk as a used buyer is likely to come from the usual luxury-car maintenance and repair costs rather than from the car’s basic concept.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi A5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s service records match its mileage and age. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the electronics, infotainment system, tires, brakes, and any signs of uneven wear, since condition matters a lot on a premium used car.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi A5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,065 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.79% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,680, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $40,680 sits slightly below last year's $51,360.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped, since buyers will likely compare it against a softer market baseline. If you keep the car clean, well maintained, and documented, you'll be in a better position to protect value later.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.79% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of the A5’s hatchback-based redesign, the 2025 is the one to target, especially if you value the updated body style, strong standard tech, and a market that currently favors shoppers more than sellers. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing for a lower entry cost, but the 2025 makes the most sense when you want the latest shape and a broad pool of listings to choose from.
