Is the 2025 Audi A5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi A5 stands out as a stylish luxury car that blends premium feel, useful cargo space, and modern tech in a single package. It also brings broader appeal than earlier coupe-focused versions because Audi reworked it as a five-door hatchback, and that redesign adds more room inside without losing its upscale character.

For everyday use, the hatchback tailgate and expanded cargo area make it easier to live with than a traditional coupe, while the standard tech and driver-assistance equipment give it a strong convenience advantage. The A5 also earned a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

With 36.3% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of market opportunities to consider.

Is the 2025 Audi A5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi A5 is presented as a polished, well-equipped luxury car with a strong emphasis on technology, safety, and everyday usability. Its standard equipment list is generous, and the car’s design focuses on combining premium feel with practical utility.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a feature-rich luxury model can be more expensive to keep in top condition than a simpler mainstream car, so condition and maintenance history matter more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi A5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s equipment and service records line up with the listing. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, interior electronics, and cargo-area hardware, since this model leans heavily on digital features and practical hatchback components. Focus on overall condition and signs of careful ownership, especially if you want the car to feel as refined as it should.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi A5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently while still being ready to move when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,074 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.83% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 98.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,413, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $40,413 sits slightly below last year's $51,044.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, the current pricing trend means your future resale value will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition and how much demand remains for this body style. A clean history and strong maintenance records should matter more than ever if you want to protect value.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.83% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better pick if you want the updated five-door hatchback layout, strong tech, and a market that currently gives you decent negotiating room. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2025 stands out if you want the newer body style and a strong mix of practicality and premium appeal.
