Is the 2025 Audi A5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi A5 stands out as a stylish luxury car that blends premium feel, useful cargo space, and modern tech in a single package. It gives you a five-door hatchback body, more room inside than before, and up to 36.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seat folded, so it works well if you want upscale design with everyday practicality.

It also comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a 48-volt hybrid system, all-wheel drive, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which supports its performance-focused character. Standard equipment is generous, including Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a power liftgate, and driver-assistance features.

Is the 2025 Audi A5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi A5 is presented as a polished, well-equipped luxury car with a strong mix of technology, comfort, and safety equipment. It also earned a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, which adds confidence for shoppers prioritizing protection.

For long-term ownership, you should still expect the usual used-luxury-car risk profile: maintenance and repair costs can be more demanding than those of mainstream cars, so condition and service history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi A5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with incomplete service records, and pay close attention to tires, brakes, electronics, and signs of prior bodywork.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi A5?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,106 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.18% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 98.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,112, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $40,112 sits slightly below last year's $50,252.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future resale values may remain sensitive to mileage, condition, and equipment. If you buy well now and keep the car in strong shape, you’ll be better positioned when it’s time to sell. If you overpay relative to the current market, you may have less room to recover that cost later.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.18% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 Audi A5 makes the most sense if you want the newer hatchback-based design, strong tech, and a market that currently gives you decent deal availability. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing closely, especially if you can find a cleaner or better-equipped example at a lower asking price.
