Is the 2024 Toyota bZ4X a good car?

The 2024 Toyota bZ4X is a moderate-market choice, with pricing that sits below last year’s average and a deal mix that gives you some room to shop selectively. You also have a healthy share of accident-free listings, which supports a more confident search if you focus on condition and price together.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota bZ4X?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the car’s actual condition and equipment. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you want to confirm wear, charging-related concerns, and overall maintenance quality. Focus on the battery, tires, brakes, and interior condition so you can separate a clean example from one that has simply been priced aggressively.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota bZ4X?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined on price and condition.

• Deal availability: 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 636 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.50% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,906, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota bZ4X's resale value?

The current average of $24,817 sits slightly below last year's $25,716.

That softer pricing can help you buy with less pressure today, but it also suggests future resale may depend heavily on how well you preserve the car’s condition. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintain a clean history, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell. For a future seller, the current market points to steady but not especially strong price retention.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota bZ4X or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.50% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,246, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $24,817 average.
• The 2023 offers strong handling and a comfortable ride.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and clean listings. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better value path and still gives you a compelling used-buyer alternative.
