The 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid combines a fuel-efficient and capable powertrain with a spacious and versatile small SUV that’s loaded with plenty of tech and safety features. ## What’s New for the 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid For the 2024 model year, the RAV4 Hybrid is available in a new Army Green two-tone paint scheme for certain trims. Otherwise, the RAV4 Hybrid is largely a carryover. ## Design Trims for the RAV4 Hybrid are LE, XLE, XLE Premium, SE, XSE, and the Woodland Edition. The LE comes standard with roof rails and 17-inch alloy wheels. The SE and XSE both have 18-inch wheels and a sport-tuned suspension. The XLE Premium also has 18-inch wheels, along with LED fog lights. The new Army Green color is available for the Woodland Edition, which also boasts larger roof rails with crossbars and unique bronze 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. ## Powertrain The 2024 RAV4 matches a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors to make a combined 219 horsepower and 163 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to standard all-wheel drive (AWD). The Woodland Edition of the RAV4 Hybrid returns fuel economy of 38 mpg city, 35 highway, and 37 combined. All other versions of the RAV4 Hybrid return 41 mpg city, 38 highway, and 40 combined. ## Interior Standard features on the LE trim include dual-zone automatic climate control, a six-speaker stereo, and remote keyless entry. The XLE adds a power-adjustable driver’s seat and push-button start. The XLE Premium includes synthetic leather upholstery and a power moonroof, and the XSE features heated front seats. The range-topping Limited trim adds a power-adjustable front passenger seat and heated and ventilated front seats. With the rear seats folded, the RAV4 Hybrid provides up to 69.8 cubic feet of cargo space. With the rear seats in use, there’s still 37.6 cubic feet of space. A power lift gate is optional on the XLE and standard on the XLE Premium. Moving up to the XSE provides a hands-free power lift gate. ## Technology The standard infotainment system is accessed through an 8-inch touchscreen with a straightforward layout, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
