Should I buy a 2024 Toyota GR Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $36,959, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $37,333 average.
• It brings a fresh hot-hatch formula with standard all-wheel drive and strong handling.

The 2024 is the better pick if you want the current-year market with solid inventory and strong owner satisfaction. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is worth a look because it undercuts the current average while keeping the core appeal intact.
