Used 2024 Toyota Crown for Sale nearChicago, IL

How much does the 2024 Toyota Crown cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 456 listings available, which gives you a moderate amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Toyota Crown a good car?

Generally — 4/5 is a solid user rating for this model year, and the Crown’s appeal comes from its premium, sedan-like feel in a taller body style. It offers a quiet cabin, a comfortable ride, easy entry and exit, and a distinctive mix of full-size sedan proportions with crossover-like visibility. It also stands out for standard hybrid power and all-wheel drive, which makes it a practical daily driver if you value efficiency and comfort over speed.

The tradeoffs are just as clear: the base setup is not especially quick, cargo space is limited, and interior materials are a mixed bag. If you want a distinctive, fuel-efficient, comfort-focused Toyota with a more upscale feel than a typical sedan, this model year fits that use case well.

34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Toyota Crown reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Crown’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward hybrid focus, standard all-wheel drive, and comfort-first mission rather than a complicated performance setup. Its quiet cabin and daily-driver character suggest a model built to be lived with, not just admired.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the concept and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by heavy daily use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Crown?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or neglected maintenance. Pay close attention to overall condition, especially the cabin and any features you plan to use every day, since this model’s value is tied heavily to comfort and equipment.

If you find a listing below $34,516, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Crown's resale value?

The current average of $35,725 sits slightly above last year's $35,639.

That small increase suggests the Crown has held its value fairly well, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. Stable pricing usually points to steady demand rather than sharp depreciation, and that can help protect your ownership costs over time. The model’s distinctive positioning and comfort-focused appeal should continue to support interest from used buyers.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Crown or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,474, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $35,725 average.
• It offers a distinctive, efficient, and comfortable package with broad appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger all-around shopping case, the 2024 is the better target because pricing is stable and inventory is reasonably healthy. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the smarter secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition and can live with the older model year’s lower price.
