How much does the 2024 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have softened 2.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,303 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Toyota Corolla earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out for offering a wider model range than its predecessor, along with a sharper look and more desirability than recent Corolla models have had. You also get sedan and hatchback body styles, plus a hybrid sedan and the GR Corolla hatchback, so you can match the car more closely to your needs. With 42.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market also gives you room to shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Corolla is described as a well-engineered car that is built to last, and its strengths remain efficiency and broad appeal. It is still more about sensible ownership than excitement, which usually works in your favor if you want a car that is easy to live with. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure you choose a well-kept example, since equipment and condition can vary a lot by body style and trim.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Corolla?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still prioritize a history report so you can confirm the car’s background and spot any hidden issues. A pre-purchase inspection is worth it, especially if you are comparing different body styles or trims with different equipment levels. Focus on overall condition, since the lineup’s many variations mean the right car for you may depend as much on how it was maintained as on the badge on the trunk.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market, with decent deal availability and a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

• Deal availability: 42.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,303 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,820, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $20,834 sits slightly below last year's $21,320.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle, but it also suggests the model has already moved a bit lower in market value. If you plan to sell later, the Corolla’s broad appeal and practical reputation should help keep demand steady. A well-kept example with the right equipment and clean history should be easier to move than one with visible wear or a questionable record.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 42.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $22,345, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $20,834 average.
• It adds more modern infotainment and safety technology.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better primary pick if you want stronger value and more room to negotiate. If you are willing to pay more for a newer model with updated tech, the 2025 is the secondary path to consider.
