The inline-four makes 202 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque, which reaches the front or all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The V6 delivers 301 horsepower and great torque, and it makes the Camry feel more like the sports sedan its styling implies. Toyota dialed in agreeable steering and confidence-inspiring brakes, making the Camry a pleasure to maneuver in traffic and giving it a comfortable ride on the highway. ## Interior The Camry’s interior finishes range from basic to surprisingly luxurious, depending on the trim, but the overall look is consistent across the trim lineup. Cloth upholstery comes in the base Camry models, while top trims get genuine leather. That said, there are too many hard plastics and cheap-feeling materials in all trims, especially those with higher price tags. The front bucket seats are spacious and nicely padded, but the rear bench could use a bit more shape and support. ## Technology A 7-inch touchscreen comes standard in the Camry for 2024, and higher trims get a 9-inch unit. Both displays run Toyota’s new Entune infotainment system, which is much-improved over previous iterations of the interface.
