CarGurus Analysis: 2024 Toyota Camry

Summary
With 9,615 currently listed for sale and an average price of $26,641.00, 32.7% of 2024 Toyota Camrys for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2024 Toyota Camry 4.67 / 5 stars.
85.5% of 2024 Camry models on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2024 Toyota Camry stands out as a midsize sedan that has long been valued for being practical, easy to live with, and likely to be very reliable. It remains one of Toyota’s core models, and its appeal is rooted in that familiar Camry formula: sensible transportation with a strong reputation for dependability. Owners also praise its smooth ride, spacious interior, and comfort, which help explain why it continues to attract buyers who want a car that feels straightforward and reassuring rather than flashy.
What makes the 2024 Camry especially distinctive is how much equipment and efficiency it offers without losing that everyday usability. The Camry Hybrid combines a 2.5-liter engine with an electric motor for a total system output of 208 horsepower, and it uses a CVT automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, while non-hybrid versions are also available with all-wheel drive. Standard equipment on entry-level models includes selectable drive modes, LED headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, and an eight-inch multimedia touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Higher trims add a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, while the standard Toyota Safety Sense package brings radar cruise control, lane departure alert, pedestrian detection, and a blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.
The 2024 Camry is also appealing because it balances style and substance better than many shoppers might expect from a Camry. The generation shifted the model slightly upmarket, with a lower roofline and a sportier look, and the hybrid setup helps keep gas mileage a strength. At the same time, it is not trying to be the most exciting midsize sedan to drive, and some owners note the absence of features such as memory seat settings and sunroofs. Even so, for buyers who want a comfortable, well-equipped, and dependable sedan, the 2024 Toyota Camry remains an easy car to understand and a hard one to dismiss.

Great features. Keyless entry, 2 keys provided. Wheels were in immaculate condition with zero damages. Interior was sleek. Low miles, was able to extend dealer warranty another 5 years. Agreed price was reasonable. Certified preowned is the way to go. Comparable to the ES350 in terms of cab space.

With 9,619 listings available, you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare across trims and conditions.
If you find a listing below $24,858.88, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
Is the 2024 Toyota Camry a good car?
Yes — the 2024 Toyota Camry earns a 4.67/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.
Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, spacious interior, and comfort, and they also highlight the great features that make it easy to live with. The Camry’s practical, straightforward character fits well if you want a midsize sedan that feels reassuring rather than flashy. That makes it a strong match for you if you value everyday usability, comfort, and a familiar ownership experience.
With 29.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.
Is the 2024 Toyota Camry reliable?
Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback also emphasizes reliability, dependability, and a car that many drivers feel comfortable choosing over previous vehicles. That kind of language matters because it suggests the Camry is the sort of sedan you can count on for routine use without much drama. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by heavy use.
What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Camry?
Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace documentation on the specific car you’re considering. Put inspection priority on overall condition, especially signs of wear that could affect comfort and daily usability. Focus on whether the car matches the smooth, well-kept feel you expect from this model year.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Camry?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

- Price trend: Prices have softened 1.78% compared with last year.

What is the 2024 Toyota Camry's resale value?
The current average of $26,666 sits slightly below last year's $27,148.
That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also suggests future sellers may not see rapid appreciation. If you plan to resell later, the Camry’s value will likely depend on how well you preserve condition, mileage, and service history. A well-kept example should remain easier to move than a neglected one because shoppers continue to respond to the model’s comfort and reliability reputation.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2024 if:
- 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 1.78% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
Consider the 2025 if:
- At $29,542, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $26,666 average.
- It brings a new hybrid-only design with updated styling and features.
The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2024 is the smarter starting point because pricing is softer and inventory is broad. If you’re willing to pay more for the newer redesign and updated hybrid setup, the 2025 is the better alternative. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 offers the more compelling balance of cost, satisfaction, and availability.
