How much does the 2024 Tesla Cybertruck cost?

Prices are up 1.20% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 222 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Tesla Cybertruck a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. The Cybertruck stands out because it was designed to be something other than a conventional electric pickup, with unusual engineering, a minimalist cabin, and practical utility features like a powered bed cover and integrated outlets. It makes the most sense if you value tech, have home charging, and want a truck for daily driving and occasional towing rather than heavy-duty use. With 24.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Tesla Cybertruck reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also notes that reliability has been below average, and ownership costs can be high because the unique stainless-steel body and specialized parts make repairs expensive. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is tied less to routine use and more to the possibility of costly repairs and insurance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Tesla Cybertruck?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the truck’s condition matches its mileage and asking price. Put extra inspection priority on body condition, panel fit, and any signs of repair work, since the Cybertruck’s unique construction can make damage more consequential. It’s also smart to confirm that the truck’s tech features, steering feel, and charging setup all work as expected.

What is the 2024 Tesla Cybertruck's resale value?

The current average of $80,466 sits slightly above last year's $79,515.

That modest increase suggests the market has held up reasonably well for this model year. If you sell later, the current pricing trend points to steady demand rather than a sharp drop. The Cybertruck’s unusual design and strong buyer interest can help support resale value, especially if your truck is clean and well maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Tesla Cybertruck or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 24.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.20% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the Cybertruck’s most distinctive mix of design, tech, and capability, the 2024 is the right place to start. If you’re more price-sensitive, you should compare nearby model years and focus on the cleanest, best-priced truck rather than chasing the newest example.
