Used 2024 Subaru Solterra for Sale nearFort Myers, FL

How much does the 2024 Subaru Solterra cost?

Prices have softened 5.57% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 616 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Subaru Solterra a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Subaru Solterra earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

The 2024 Solterra is Subaru’s updated electric SUV, and the changes are aimed at making it more credible and more appealing than before. You get a stylish design, a comfortable character, and strong safety ratings, along with comfort, convenience, and utility improvements that make the cabin feel more accommodating.

The trade-offs are clear: unimpressive electric range remains an issue, and power is underwhelming. The lane assist system is also a weak point.

With 42.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Subaru Solterra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Solterra’s reliability case is helped by Subaru’s updates to charging and standard safety equipment, plus the fact that it’s presented as a more credible EV than before. The expert evaluation also points to a structurally sound feel on the road, with no suspension clunking, thunking, or shuddering making its way into the cabin.

The performance notes suggest a used-buyer-friendly ownership profile if you value a straightforward electric SUV with standard dual-motor AWD and a battery pack that Subaru says charges faster for 2024. If you’re shopping used, the main long-term risk is that range and charging speed still trail the best EV alternatives, so you should be especially careful about battery condition and charging behavior.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Subaru Solterra?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings. Focus on overall condition, charging-port health, tire wear, and whether the cabin electronics and driver-assistance systems behave as expected on a test drive.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Premium is the most affordable entry point, while Limited and Touring add more upscale equipment and convenience features. The base trim gives you the core Solterra experience, but the higher trims bring the richer tech and comfort setup.
• Powertrain: Every Solterra uses a dual-motor electric drive system with standard AWD, 215 horsepower, and 249 pound-feet of torque. Output is modest, so you should evaluate whether the acceleration feels adequate for your driving.
• Safety package: EyeSight is standard, and it includes front cross-traffic alert, proactive driving assist, hands-free driving under 25 mph, active lane-change assist, DriverFocus, intersection collision avoidance, emergency steering assist, emergency stop assist, and a traffic-ahead-moving notification. The system is broad, but the lane-centering behavior deserves a careful test drive.
• Infotainment: Premium gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Subaru Solterra Connect. Limited and Touring upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen, surround-view camera, wireless smartphone charging, and an 11-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
• Range & charging: The Solterra has a 72.8 kWh battery and an EPA range of 227 miles on Premium or 222 miles on Limited and Touring. Subaru says charging is improved for 2024, but the model still isn’t as quick to recharge as some rivals.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should ask for charging history, look for signs of frequent fast-charging use, and confirm that the battery still behaves normally on both home charging and DC fast charging. Also check how much of the battery warranty remains so you know what protection you still have.

Which 2024 Subaru Solterra trim should I buy?

The 2024 Subaru Solterra is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Limited, and Touring.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the best-value choice if you want the Solterra’s core strengths without paying for the higher-end extras. You still get the standard dual-motor AWD setup, the 8-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration, and the full EyeSight safety suite.
• Limited: This is the trim to target if you want the strongest mix of comfort and tech. It adds the 12.3-inch touchscreen, surround-view camera, wireless charging, and the Harman Kardon audio system, making it the most balanced upgrade.
• Touring: Choose this if you want the most fully equipped Solterra, with the same upgraded tech as Limited plus the top-end presentation and convenience features.

The standard EyeSight package is broad across the lineup, but you should still verify that every driver-assistance feature works properly during your test drive.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Subaru Solterra?

It’s a buyer-friendly market if you’re shopping carefully and comparing listings.

• Deal availability: 42.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 616 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.57% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,698, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Subaru Solterra's resale value?

The current average of $25,784 sits slightly below last year's $27,307.

That price movement suggests the Solterra has become more approachable for used buyers, which can help keep demand steady if you decide to sell later. A softer market today can also mean you may need to price competitively when it’s your turn to list the vehicle.

The upside for resale is that the Solterra’s updated safety and charging improvements make it a more credible EV than before. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Subaru Solterra safe?

The 2024 Subaru Solterra earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Subaru’s EyeSight suite is standard, and it includes front cross-traffic alert, proactive driving assist, hands-free driving under 25 mph, active lane-change assist, DriverFocus monitoring, intersection collision avoidance, emergency steering assist, emergency stop assist, and a notification for when traffic ahead starts moving again.

The system is impressively comprehensive, but the execution needs improvement. The lane-centering assist can struggle in curves, and the driver-information display can be cluttered enough to pull your eyes away from the road.

Should I buy a 2024 Subaru Solterra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 42.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Subaru updated charging, safety features, and cabin comfort for this year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $22,943, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $25,784 average.
• It offers Subaru’s first all-electric model with symmetrical all-wheel drive and a sensible interior.

The bottom line: If you want the more polished and better-equipped Solterra, the 2024 is the better pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2023 remains the value play, especially if you’re comfortable giving up the updates that make the newer model more appealing.
