Used 2024 Rivian R1T for Sale nearAtlanta, GA

Is the 2024 Rivian R1T a good car?

The 2024 Rivian R1T earns an 7.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It stands out as a luxurious, powerful electric pickup with a premium feel, and it gives you several powertrain choices, three battery sizes, and an estimated driving range that spans from 270 to 410 miles per charge. The cabin is described as futuristic and airy, with excellent outward visibility and adult-friendly headroom and legroom in every seating position.

The trade-offs are clear: it has a hefty starting price of approximately $73,000, the options are similarly pricey, and the exterior design is polarizing. Even so, if you want a premium EV truck with strong performance and long-range capability, it makes a compelling case.

Good and great deals account for 47.1% of listings, which suggests there’s meaningful market activity to shop from.

Is the 2024 Rivian R1T reliable?

The 2024 Rivian R1T is presented as a well-equipped electric truck with standard safety features across the lineup, and its expert safety score is strong at 8/10. The performance writeup also emphasizes that it is quick, smooth, and whisper quiet, which supports the impression of a refined powertrain and road manners.

Rivian also notes that all versions can tow up to 11,000 pounds, and the truck’s electric setup is described as capable and confident. On the ownership side, the available charging setup includes a home charging solution that can fully recharge the larger battery pack in about 13 hours, which is a practical convenience for regular use.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this is still a relatively new and expensive EV truck, so you should be especially careful about battery condition, charging behavior, and overall maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Rivian R1T?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, and pay close attention to cosmetic condition, charging performance, and any signs of hard use. Because this is an expensive electric truck, it’s worth being especially careful about battery health, software behavior, and whether the truck has been used heavily for towing or off-road driving.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is futuristic and airy, with excellent outward visibility and adult-friendly headroom and legroom in every seating position. The truck’s premium feel and strong materials are part of the appeal, but the design is polarizing and the price climbs quickly with options.
• Powertrain: Rivian offers dual-motor AWD and quad-motor AWD setups. The dual-motor version makes 533 horsepower, while the Performance dual-motor setup rises to 665 hp and the quad-motor version delivers 835 horsepower. The truck is quick, smooth, and whisper quiet, and Rivian says all versions can tow 11,000 pounds.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and a surround-view parking camera. The same safety equipment is fitted across every variant.
• Infotainment: Every R1T gets a 12-inch digital instrument display and a 16-inch center touchscreen, plus navigation, wireless device charging, HD radio, six USB ports, Amazon Alexa, over-the-air software updates, and a 19-speaker Meridian stereo.
• Range & charging: The truck’s range spans from 270 to 410 miles per charge. Rivian says the larger, 135-kWh battery pack can fully charge in about 13 hours on its home charging station, and the truck can add 140 miles of range in about 20 minutes on a DC fast charger.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should confirm battery state-of-health, ask how the truck has typically been charged, and look for a history of frequent DC fast charging versus mostly home charging. You should also verify how much battery warranty coverage remains and whether the truck has any charging-related faults or reduced range.

Which 2024 Rivian R1T trim should I buy?

Should I buy a 2024 Rivian R1T or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 47.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It offers several powertrain options, three battery sizes, and a driving range spanning from 270 to 410 miles per charge.

The bottom line: The 2024 R1T is the right pick if you want the strongest mix of range, performance, and premium EV-truck character in this year’s lineup.
