Should I buy a 2024 Porsche Taycan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $76,917, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $91,474 average.
• It offers Porsche performance with more versatility and affordability than many buyers expect.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current inventory, softened pricing, and high owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the better starting point. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2023 is the smarter value play and still gives you much of the Taycan appeal.
