How much does the 2024 Porsche Cayenne cost?

Prices have softened 34.61% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,132 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Porsche Cayenne a good car?

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne stands out because it blends Porsche performance with SUV practicality in a way that still feels distinctly premium. For 2024, it received a minor styling refresh inside and out, along with a bump in power and a tuned suspension system that promised better handling and comfort.

It is also notable for how much equipment and performance it offers across the lineup. The Cayenne has standard all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the third-generation model’s safety and driver-assistance roster expanded over time to include features such as a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, parking proximity sensors, a semi-automated parking system, and a traffic sign reader.

At the same time, the Cayenne is not especially affordable, and it has limited cargo capacity and pricey maintenance, so you are paying for refinement, performance, and brand cachet as much as utility. With 33.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Porsche Cayenne reliable?

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne has a relative reputation for reliability and a limited recall history. The third-generation Cayenne has been regarded as one of the more reliable choices in the luxury SUV class, and the most concerning issue noted for the 2024 model year was a front suspension control arm problem.

That makes it appealing if you want a high-end SUV with strong performance credentials, but you should still plan for expensive ownership costs over time. For used buyers, long-term risk is more about costly repairs and maintenance than broad reliability concerns.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Porsche Cayenne?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific car you are considering has no accident or title issues. A pre-purchase inspection is worth prioritizing, especially if you want to check suspension condition, maintenance records, and any signs of expensive wear. Focus on overall condition and service history, since this is a premium SUV where deferred maintenance can become costly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Porsche Cayenne?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and disciplined.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,132 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 34.61% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $83,570, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Porsche Cayenne's resale value?

The current average of $84,724 sits slightly below last year's $129,564.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. If you keep the SUV clean, documented, and accident-free, you are in a better position to protect value when it is time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 Porsche Cayenne or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 34.61% compared with last year.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $103,184, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $84,724 average.
• It adds a more agile driving feel.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the stronger value proposition and more room to negotiate. If you are willing to spend more for the newer model year and want the latest version of the Cayenne formula, the 2025 is the secondary path.
