Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. If you keep the car clean, documented, and accident-free, you'll be in a better position when it's time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Porsche 718 Cayman or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on older or newer listings only after you compare condition, mileage, and service history closely.
