With 32.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Porsche 718 Cayman reliable?

For used buyers, that suggests the bigger risk is less about broad owner dissatisfaction and more about finding a well-kept example with consistent maintenance and clean history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Porsche 718 Cayman?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had multiple owners or limited service documentation. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and any signs of hard use so you can separate a carefully maintained example from one that has been driven aggressively.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Porsche 718 Cayman?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 178 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.08% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $122,891, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Porsche 718 Cayman's resale value?

The current average of $127,635 sits slightly below last year's $146,841.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited if prices stay soft. If you plan to sell later, buying well below the current average matters more because your eventual resale value will depend heavily on how much room you leave between purchase price and market value. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Porsche 718 Cayman or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, clean inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the primary year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the appeal of this year's market conditions and satisfaction signal.
