Used 2024 Nissan Z for Sale near Kansas

How much does the 2024 Nissan Z cost?

Prices have softened 2.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 296 listings available, which gives you a modest but workable pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2024 Nissan Z a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Nissan Z earns a 4.5/5 from owners and a 6.7/10 from experts. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise the vintage-inspired design, strong performance, and driving experience that feels like a true sports car. The Z also stands out for offering a manual transmission, which adds to its appeal if you want a more involved drive. The main trade-offs are limited practicality and a ride that can feel harsh on rough roads.

That mix fits you best if you want a stylish, performance-first coupe rather than a daily-driver compromise. With 40.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Nissan Z reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car you can count on for the kind of driving experience it promises, with repeated praise for its strong performance and engaging character. The expert evaluation also describes the Z as a focused sports car with a solid, confidence-inspiring feel on the road.

Nissan backs the Z with a standard warranty that includes three years or 36,000 miles of basic coverage and five years or 60,000 miles of powertrain coverage. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a sports car with a firm ride and performance focus may show wear more quickly if it has been driven hard.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Z?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a sports car where driving style can matter as much as mileage. Focus on tire wear, brake condition, and signs of hard use, since those are the kinds of items that can reveal how the car was treated. If you’re comparing listings, pay close attention to whether the equipment matches the trim level you want.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base Z Sport models get 18-inch alloy wheels, while Performance and NISMO models add staggered Rays wheels, and the NISMO brings its own styling details, Recaro seats, and red trim. The base trim also misses the larger touchscreen and upgraded audio found higher up.
• Powertrain: All models use a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with rear-wheel drive and a limited-slip differential. Sport and Performance trims offer six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmissions, while the NISMO is automatic-only and tuned for more track-focused performance.
• Safety package: All models include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and forward collision warning.
• Infotainment: Base Z Sport models come with an 8-inch touchscreen, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a six-speaker audio system. Performance and NISMO models upgrade to a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and a Bose eight-speaker audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA fuel economy ratings for 2024 Nissan Z models weren’t available at the time of publication.

Which 2024 Nissan Z trim should I buy?

The 2024 Nissan Z is offered in 3 trim levels: Sport, Performance, NISMO.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Z experience with the twin-turbo V6, manual or automatic transmission, and the essential driver-assist features. It makes the most sense if you want the Z’s style and performance without paying for extras.
• Performance: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the larger touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bose audio, and upgraded wheels and tires. If you want the most balanced mix of equipment and price, this is the trim to target.
• NISMO: This is the most track-focused version, with more power, a stiffer chassis, upgraded brakes, unique suspension tuning, and Recaro seats. It suits you best if you want the sharpest handling and are willing to pay for the extra capability.

All models include the same basic driver-assist features, so safety equipment is broadly consistent across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Z?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market if you’re ready to move on the right car.

• Deal availability: 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 296 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.33% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,629, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Z's resale value?

The current average of $42,402 sits slightly below last year's $43,416.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy in at a more favorable point. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and trim than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment should hold up better than rougher cars or stripped-down versions.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Nissan Z safe?

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The Z did not have current-generation crash-test ratings from IIHS or NHTSA at the time of publication. Standard safety equipment includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and forward collision warning.

That gives you a solid standard driver-assistance package, but you should still treat safety as a key inspection point because the car’s crash-test picture is incomplete.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Z or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• For 2024, Nissan gives the Z an extra dose of performance, and the Z NISMO returns with more power, a stiffened chassis, and upgraded brakes.

Consider the 2023 if:

• It offers a fresh redesign with strong performance and a more value-oriented position.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-year market setup and the added performance focus, the 2024 is the better path. If your priority is stretching your budget, the 2023 remains appealing because it delivers the same basic sports-car formula with a more value-driven angle.
