Is the 2024 Nissan Titan a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Nissan Titan earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid overall appeal for shoppers who want a full-size pickup with a straightforward personality. The Titan’s appeal centers on a strong V8, a quiet cabin, and a comfortable interior, and it also offers practical truck-friendly touches such as a large center console, Zero Gravity seats, and available convenience features. For buyers who value a comfortable, well-equipped truck over maximum complexity, that combination makes sense. The market also shows 32.9% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Nissan Titan reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Titan’s overview points to a truck built around a simple formula: a standard V8, rear- or four-wheel drive, and a cabin designed to feel comfortable and well equipped. That straightforward setup can be appealing if you want fewer moving parts in the ownership experience than a more complicated truck might bring. Its strengths in comfort and build quality help support confidence, even though the truck’s limitations still matter when you’re evaluating a used example.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a truck that has been worked hard or maintained inconsistently, so condition and service history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Titan?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for signs of heavy use, uneven wear, or deferred maintenance. Because the Titan is a truck, condition matters especially on the drivetrain, suspension, brakes, and interior wear points. If you’re comparing listings, pay close attention to how the truck was used and whether the equipment and condition match the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Titan?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 641 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,897, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Titan's resale value?

The current average of $41,139 sits slightly below last year's $44,207.

That price movement suggests the Titan has softened enough to create a more approachable entry point for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may be starting from a more favorable cost basis than someone who bought when prices were higher. The Titan’s distinct identity and comfortable cabin can help support demand, especially among shoppers who want a V8-powered full-size truck with a simpler personality.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Titan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 Titan makes the most sense if you want a full-size truck with a comfortable cabin, a standard V8, and a straightforward ownership experience. If your priority is value, the current pricing trend and deal availability make this a reasonable year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also use the broader inventory to compare nearby model years and focus on the cleanest, best-priced truck rather than the newest one.
