Used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearAtlantic City, NJ

How much does the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 10.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,401 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 4.8/5 model with an expert rating of 8/10. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

Drivers consistently praise the luxurious feel, sporty performance, stylish design, and high-quality features. The GLE also fits buyers who want a polished cabin and a broad range of powertrain choices, including a plug-in hybrid that adds real-world versatility.

The main trade-offs are fairly pedestrian handling and the fact that advanced safety features are not standard. Even so, the GLE’s mix of space, luxury touches, and upscale presence makes it appealing if you want a midsize SUV that can suit different priorities.

With 33.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s enough market flexibility to shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as luxurious, stylish, and high-quality, while also pointing to dependable day-to-day appeal. The plug-in hybrid setup is presented as adaptable across different driving situations, and the gas-electric transition is smooth and seamless.

Mercedes also includes a 4-year/50,000-mile basic limited warranty, and the battery in the plug-in hybrid gets separate coverage. For used buyers, the bigger ownership risk is less about basic durability and more about higher maintenance and depreciation costs over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim or heavily optioned example. Focus on condition, maintenance records, and whether the features you want are actually present, since equipment can vary a lot.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes the GLE 350, GLE 450, GLE 580, AMG GLE 53, AMG GLE 63 S, and GLE 450e. The base setup is well equipped, but the available AMG Line package adds a sportier look, and the coupe body style trades some interior space for style.
• Powertrain: You can choose from a 255-horsepower entry model, a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder, a 4.0-liter V8, or a plug-in hybrid with 381 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque in hybrid mode. The plug-in hybrid is the efficiency standout and can drive on electric power alone for meaningful range.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring is standard, while the Driver Assistance Package Plus adds active blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, and lane-change assist. Those advanced features are not standard.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch MBUX screen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system also supports augmented reality navigation, though the wireless phone integration may be inconsistent in some cases.
• Fuel efficiency: The plug-in hybrid is rated at 58 MPGe in hybrid mode and 24 mpg on gasoline alone. The GLE 350 is rated at 23 mpg combined, the GLE 450 at 22 mpg combined, and the GLE 580 at 17 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 6 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 450, GLE 580, AMG GLE 53, AMG GLE 63 S, and GLE 450e.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the entry point if you want the most accessible way into the lineup, and it still gives you the core Mercedes luxury experience with standard all-wheel drive and a strong feature set.
• GLE 450: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds more power and refinement while staying below the AMG models and the plug-in hybrid’s more specialized mission.
• GLE 580: Choose this if you want the V8-powered version and are willing to pay for the extra performance and prestige.
• AMG GLE 53: This is for you if you want a more performance-focused setup without going all the way to the top AMG model.
• AMG GLE 63 S: This is the most aggressive choice in the lineup for buyers who want the highest-performance version.
• GLE 450e: This is the trim to buy if efficiency matters most, since it combines strong performance with the lineup’s standout electric range.

Advanced safety features require the Driver Assistance Package Plus, so check that equipment carefully on any used example.

If you find a listing below $56,176, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $56,176 sits slightly below last year's $62,536.

That price movement suggests the market has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if values stabilize. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be starting from a more favorable price base than buyers did a year ago.

The GLE’s broad appeal, luxury positioning, and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand over time. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE has not received an overall or frontal crash rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), but it earned a five-star rating for a side crash and four-out-of-five stars for a rollover.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Mercedes includes blind-spot monitoring as standard, and the Driver Assistance Package Plus adds active blind-spot monitoring with steering intervention, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, and lane-change assist. Those advanced features are not standard, so you’ll want to verify package content on any used example.

The IIHS gave it the top score of “Good” in crashworthiness, crash avoidance and mitigation, and seat belts and child restraints. Cars equipped with Mercedes’ Digital Light package earned a headlight rating of “Acceptable.”

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• A new plug-in hybrid powertrain helps the GLE hit a sweet spot between performance and efficiency.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $48,441, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $56,176 average.
• It emphasizes prestige, performance, and practicality with agile handling.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $61,601, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $56,176 average.
• It adds new configurations and paint colors while staying family-friendly.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of current pricing, strong satisfaction, and updated tech, the 2024 is the primary pick. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the value play; if you want the newest configuration choices, look to the 2025.
