How much does the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

The GLC is positioned as a compact premium SUV that emphasizes upscale polish and everyday usability. Its voice-command system is a highlight, the ride is improved compared with its predecessor, and it earned excellent scores from independent safety organizations.

The trade-offs are clear: desirable advanced driver-assistance systems are not standard, cargo space is limited especially in the Coupe, and some of the features you may want cost extra.

With 36.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLC’s conservative redesign and premium cabin materials support its reputation for refinement, and the expert review points to a polished overall package. Its improved ride quality also helps it feel more settled in daily use.

The performance notes also point to a well-developed powertrain lineup, with the AMG version using a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.

If you plan to keep one long term, the main ownership risk is that some desirable equipment is optional, so you should verify the exact build before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-spec or heavily optioned example. Focus on condition, equipment verification, and whether the features you want were actually added at purchase.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLC lineup includes a base GLC 300, plus AMG variants and Coupe versions, and the base setup leaves some desirable equipment off the standard list.
• Powertrain: The base GLC 300 uses a mild-hybrid turbo-four with 255 hp, while AMG versions step up to a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 416 horsepower and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.
• Safety package: Standard safety equipment includes active brake assist, attention assist, blind-spot and exit warning assist, adaptive braking technology, active parking assist, and Pre-Safe; adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, and active lane-keeping assist require the Driver Assistance Package.
• Infotainment: The GLC uses an 11.9-inch center screen with MBUX, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and voice control; navigation, a Burmester sound system, and augmented-reality navigation are added on higher trims.
• Fuel efficiency: The base GLC 300 SUV is rated at 29 mpg combined in rear-wheel-drive form and 27 mpg combined with AWD, while the AMG powertrain is rated at 21 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 4 trim levels: GLC 300 SUV, GLC 300 Coupe, AMG GLC 43 SUV, AMG GLC 43 Coupe.

Here's the short version:

• GLC 300 SUV: This is the best-value choice if you want the core GLC experience with the lowest starting point, the standard voice-command system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the most approachable ownership cost.
• GLC 300 Coupe: Choose this if you want the coupe body style and standard AWD, but be aware that the sloping roofline makes it the less practical pick.
• AMG GLC 43 SUV: This is the right pick if you want the strongest performance and a more specialized driving character, but the firmer ride and rougher shifts make it less appealing for commuting.
• AMG GLC 43 Coupe: Pick this only if you want the AMG performance and the coupe shape together; it is the most style-forward and least practical version.

The safety package note is important: popular driver-assistance features are not standard, so you should check whether the Driver Assistance Package is included.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

The market looks moderately favorable if you are a selective buyer.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,385 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.21% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,436, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $41,503 sits slightly below last year's $46,746.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point. If you sell later, the same softer pricing can work against you unless your vehicle is especially well equipped and well kept.

The GLC’s strong user satisfaction rating helps support demand, and that can matter when you eventually list it. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC earned a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), that institution’s highest honor.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include active brake assist, attention assist, blind-spot and exit warning assist, adaptive braking technology, active parking assist, and Pre-Safe. The Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, and active lane-keeping assist.

One caveat is that the standard front crash-prevention system earned an “Acceptable” rating, while the optional upgraded version earned “Good.” That means you should pay close attention to whether the vehicle you are considering has the upgraded system.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• AMG variants rejoin the GLC 300, making the lineup more complete.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $37,183, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $41,503 average.
• It is a conservative redesign with a premium cabin and a comfort-first character.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $47,452, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $41,503 average.
• It adds a new plug-in hybrid variant and a simpler trim structure.

The bottom line: If you want the most complete version of this generation’s lineup, the 2024 is the better target. If price matters most, the 2023 is the value play; if you want the newer simplified lineup and added hybrid option, look to the 2025.
