Used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale near Connecticut

How much does the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 11.05% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,330 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

The GLC is positioned as a luxury crossover with a polished, upscale feel, and the data backs that up with strong marks for design and tech. It also brings a highly functional voice-command system and an improved ride compared with its predecessor, which helps it work well if you want a premium daily driver.

The trade-offs are worth weighing: desirable advanced driver-assistance systems are not standard, cargo space is limited, especially in the Coupe, and some features you may want cost extra. That makes it a better fit if you value refinement and are comfortable paying more to get the equipment you want.

Only 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than deeply discounted.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLC’s appeal is reinforced by its strong safety results and the way it balances comfort with premium materials and a refined cabin. The expert testing notes also point to an improved ride versus the previous generation, which is a good sign for everyday durability and livability.

Its performance and equipment mix suggest a model that should feel well sorted over time, especially if you prioritize a luxury crossover that is easy to live with. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying extra for features you may not need while still needing to budget for maintenance and option content.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific car you’re considering has a clean maintenance record. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important if you’re looking at a higher-trim or heavily optioned example, since some desirable equipment is not standard. Focus on overall condition, feature operation, and whether the car has the options you actually want.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is richly appointed, but the base setup leaves room for missing equipment you may expect in a luxury SUV. The GLC’s upscale feel is strongest when you compare trims carefully and make sure the features you want are actually included.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes a mild-hybrid turbo-four in the GLC 300 and a more powerful AMG turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the AMG variant. The AMG setup is quicker and more performance-focused, but it also brings a firmer ride and rougher shifts.
• Safety package: Standard safety equipment includes active brake assist, attention assist, blind-spot and exit warning assist, adaptive braking technology, active parking assist, and Pre-Safe. Popular driver-assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, and active lane-keeping assist require the Driver Assistance Package.
• Infotainment: The GLC uses an 11.9-inch center screen with the third-generation MBUX system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a highly usable voice-command system. Navigation, a Burmester sound system, and augmented-reality navigation are tied to higher trims or packages.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLC 300 SUV is rated at 29 mpg combined in rear-wheel-drive form and 27 mpg combined with all-wheel drive, while the AMG powertrain is rated at 21 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 4 trim levels: GLC 300 SUV, GLC 300 Coupe, AMG GLC 43 SUV, AMG GLC 43 Coupe.

Here's the short version:

• GLC 300 SUV: This is the best-value choice if you want the core luxury experience with the most balanced mix of comfort, efficiency, and price. It gives you the GLC’s upscale cabin, strong tech, and standard safety equipment without stepping into the firmer, pricier AMG setup.
• GLC 300 Coupe: Choose this if you want the same basic luxury formula but prefer the sleeker coupe body style. You give up some practicality for style, so it makes sense mainly if design matters more to you than cargo flexibility.
• AMG GLC 43 SUV: This is the pick if you want the strongest performance and are willing to accept a firmer ride and rougher shifts. It suits you best if driving feel matters more than everyday softness.
• AMG GLC 43 Coupe: This is the most style-forward and performance-oriented version, but it also combines the coupe body’s practicality trade-offs with the AMG’s firmer character. It makes the most sense if you want the most distinctive GLC and are comfortable paying for it.

The Driver Assistance Package is the key safety-package upgrade to look for if you want adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, and active lane-keeping assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully but not so much discounting that every listing is a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,330 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.05% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,262, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $41,262 sits slightly below last year's $46,386.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may temper what a future seller can expect. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you reduce the risk of taking an outsized depreciation hit later.

The GLC’s premium-brand appeal and strong demand for well-equipped luxury crossovers should help support used-market interest. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC earned a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), that institution’s highest honor.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features on the GLC include active brake assist, attention assist, blind-spot and exit warning assist, adaptive braking technology, active parking assist, and Pre-Safe. The Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, and active lane-keeping assist, so you’ll want to check whether a used example has that package if those features matter to you.

One caveat is that the standard front crash-prevention system was rated “Acceptable,” while the optional upgraded version earned “Good.” That makes package content especially important when you’re comparing listings.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 range brings back AMG variants and broadens the lineup beyond the core GLC 300.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $37,007, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $41,262 average.
• It offers a conservative redesign with a polished, upscale feel.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $47,118, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $41,262 average.
• It adds a new plug-in hybrid variant and keeps the lineup simple.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of current-market value and broad availability, the 2024 is the strongest all-around choice. If price is your top priority, the 2023 is the smarter move; if you want the newest revisions and a broader efficiency story, look to the 2025.
