Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a compact luxury SUV that prioritizes space and versatility, with a boxier shape and upright stance that help create a roomier cabin. You also get an uncommon level of flexibility from the optional third row, plus a tech-forward interior with larger standard screens and a practical layout. With 39.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLB’s packaging is built around practicality, with a transverse-engine, front-wheel-drive-based layout that helps maximize interior space. For 2024, it also received a light refresh that kept it current, including updated styling and improved tech. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the vehicle’s condition matches its premium positioning, especially if you plan to rely on the third row or want features that may not be standard.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report to confirm the vehicle’s background and verify that the listing matches the seller’s description. Put inspection priority on the cabin, electronics, and any features you expect to use regularly, since desirable equipment is not always standard. If you plan to use the third row, focus on seat condition and overall interior wear, because that space is best suited to occasional use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 893 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.29% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,237, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB's resale value?

The current average of $32,237 sits slightly below last year's $37,613.

That price movement suggests the GLB has become more accessible in the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. A well-kept example with desirable features should still attract attention, especially because the GLB offers a practical mix of space and premium appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 GLB is the better pick if you want the refreshed look, updated tech, and a used price that has moved down meaningfully from last year. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2024 gives you a strong balance of value, satisfaction, and inventory depth.
