Used 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE for Sale nearJanesville, WI

How much does the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE cost?

Prices have softened 3.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 404 listings available, which suggests you have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE a good car?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE earns an expert rating of 7.17/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

It is positioned as a premium two-door that replaces both the C-Class and E-Class coupes and convertibles, and it aims to give you comfort, technology, and refinement without sacrificing everyday usability. The cabin materials are excellent, the tech is strong, and the car is described as comfortable, easy to use, and fun to drive.

The main trade-offs are limited cargo space and a design that prioritizes style and refinement over practicality. The base powertrain is smooth and capable, while the AMG version asks you to give up some ride comfort and adds more noise.

With 32.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE reliable?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE is presented as a well-sorted luxury coupe with smooth operation, quiet manners, and systems that worked as intended in testing. The base powertrain is described as unusually smooth and quiet, and the suspension is tuned to erase bumps while staying composed.

The expert notes also point to strong dependability language in the way the car behaves on the road: it is effortless to drive in city traffic and on the open road, and the adaptive cruise control is praised for smooth, natural responses. The cost-effectiveness commentary also suggests the CLE 300 should satisfy most drivers, which supports the idea that the standard setup is the safer long-term bet for used buyers.

If you want to minimize long-term ownership risk, the base or mid-level versions are the smarter used-car targets because they balance performance, comfort, and complexity better than the AMG model.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report, verify the car’s condition closely, and pay extra attention to wear items that matter on a luxury coupe or convertible. Focus on the cabin, electronics, and any signs that the car has been used hard, especially if you are considering a higher-performance version.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The CLE is available as either a coupe or Cabriolet, and the AMG CLE 53 adds a more aggressive look with a wider stance and performance-oriented styling. The base car already brings a luxurious cabin with excellent materials, while the AMG version is the one that leans hardest into sportier character.
• Powertrain: The CLE 300 4Matic uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with a 48-volt mild hybrid system, while the CLE 450 4Matic upgrades to a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six. The AMG CLE 53 uses the same six-cylinder formula with more output and an overboost function.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, parking proximity sensors, a blind-spot monitor, a semi-automated parking system, automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, cross-traffic collision alert, evasive steering assist, a surround-view camera system, an integrated dashcam, and low-level automated highway driving are available.
• Infotainment: The CLE uses an 11.9-inch infotainment touchscreen with MBUX, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and voice control through “Hey Mercedes.” Augmented reality guidance is available, and the system can be controlled through the touchscreen, voice, and steering-wheel touchpads.
• Fuel efficiency: The 48-volt mild hybrid setup adds up to 23 hp and 151 lb-ft, which helps the base powertrain feel smooth and efficient in everyday driving.

Which 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE is offered in 3 trim levels: CLE 300 4Matic, CLE 450 4Matic, AMG CLE 53 Coupe.

Here's the short version:

• CLE 300 4Matic: This is the best-value choice if you want the CLE’s luxury, smoothness, and standard all-wheel drive without stretching the budget. It should satisfy most drivers and gives you the core experience with the least financial commitment.
• CLE 450 4Matic: This is the sweet spot if you want more power and smoother engine character without jumping to the AMG’s added compromises. It is the trim to target if you want the most balanced mix of performance and refinement.
• AMG CLE 53 Coupe: Choose this if you want the most aggressive styling and the strongest performance in the lineup. It brings a wider stance and more serious output, but it also asks you to accept more noise and less ride comfort.

Standard safety equipment is comprehensive, while more advanced driver-assistance features remain optional.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 404 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.50% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $56,468, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE's resale value?

The current average of $56,468 sits slightly below last year's $58,513.

That decline suggests the CLE has softened in the market, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim choice.

If you buy well and keep the car clean, you should be able to protect value better than average. Higher-spec versions may be harder to recoup fully, so the most sensible resale play is usually the trim that gives you the features you want without overpaying upfront.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE safe?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE has no crash test results yet from either IIHS or NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, parking proximity sensors, a blind-spot monitor, a semi-automated parking system, automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. Available features include adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, cross-traffic collision alert, evasive steering assist, a surround-view camera system, an integrated dashcam, and a low-level automated highway driving system.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.50% compared with last year.
• It delivers strong technology, standout design, and a well-balanced luxury-coupe feel.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $63,741, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $56,468 average.
• It adds four seats and three distinct trims.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2024 is the smarter starting point because it already delivers the core CLE experience with softer pricing and solid inventory. If you are willing to pay more for the newer model year and its added breadth, the 2025 is worth a look; otherwise, the 2024 is the more compelling buy for price-sensitive shoppers.
