Used 2024 Mazda CX-30 for Sale nearTampa, FL

How much does the 2024 Mazda CX-30 cost?

Prices have softened 3.34% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,588 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mazda CX-30 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

Mazda positions this small crossover for you if you want something that feels more engaging than purely practical, and the CX-30 backs that up with style, refinement, standard all-wheel drive, and rewarding driving dynamics. The trade-offs are familiar for the segment: rear-seat room is tight, and cargo space is limited. The turbo version also brings stronger performance, but it comes with poor fuel economy.

The market also looks reasonably supportive, with 39.3% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The CX-30’s appeal is reinforced by its polished cabin, standard all-wheel drive, and a setup that Mazda tunes for smooth, confident everyday driving. The expert evaluation also points to a well-rounded package with strong safety, modern technology, and a refined feel that should age well in normal use.

Its performance character is described as fun, nimble, and smooth, with a traditional six-speed automatic and a powertrain that delivers power in a controlled way. On the cost side, the CX-30 includes a complimentary three-year subscription to Mazda Connected Services, which adds some ownership value.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the same packaging compromises that affect comfort and utility now — especially the tight rear seat and limited cargo room — will still matter later.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mazda CX-30?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a turbo model or a higher-mileage example. Focus on overall condition, because the CX-30’s appeal depends heavily on how well the interior, technology, and driving feel have been preserved.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is stylish and refined, but the base setup is less richly equipped than higher trims, and the most expensive versions add upscale features that can materially change the experience.
• Powertrain: The standard 191-horsepower four-cylinder is the better choice if you care about fuel economy, while the turbocharged engine delivers more power and performance but uses more gas.
• Safety package: Every version includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, rear-seat alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims add adaptive headlights, and the top Turbo Premium Plus adds parking sensors, rear automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and Cruising and Traffic Support.
• Infotainment: Turbocharged versions get a 10.25-inch display, while other models use an 8.8-inch screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available, and the larger screen adds touchscreen functionality with smartphone mirroring.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbocharged engine is noted for 25 mpg in combined driving, and the standard engine is described as returning decent gas mileage.

Which 2024 Mazda CX-30 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 is offered in 8 trim levels: 2.5 S, 2.5 Turbo, Select Sport, Carbon Turbo, and Turbo Premium Plus.

Here's the short version:

• 2.5 S: This is the value-minded starting point if you want the CX-30’s style, standard all-wheel drive, and core safety equipment without paying for turbo power or luxury extras.
• Select Sport: This is the trim to watch if you want a stronger feature mix without jumping too far up the price ladder; it fits shoppers who want the best balance of equipment and value.
• Carbon Turbo: This is the more expressive choice if you want the turbocharged engine and a more upscale, personality-driven setup.
• 2.5 Turbo: Choose this if you want the stronger engine and are willing to spend more for performance and a richer driving experience.
• Turbo Premium Plus: This is the top-end pick if you want the most complete CX-30, including the most advanced safety and convenience features.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but the most advanced driver-assistance and parking features are reserved for the upper trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mazda CX-30?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and enough deal activity to make comparison shopping worthwhile.

• Deal availability: 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,588 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.34% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,222, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $23,102 sits slightly below last year's $23,902.

That softer pricing suggests the CX-30 is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago, which can help you enter ownership at a lower cost basis. If prices stabilize, that lower entry point may support a more manageable depreciation curve for future resale.

The model’s strong safety reputation and broad appeal should help it remain attractive to used shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 safe?

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 earns five-star ratings in every NHTSA assessment except rollover resistance, where it gets a four-star rating, and it is a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Every version includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, rear-seat alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims add adaptive headlights, and the top Turbo Premium Plus adds front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, rear automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and Cruising and Traffic Support with lane-centering assist.

One caveat is that the automatic curve speed reduction technology is described as too aggressive, which can be irritating in everyday driving.

Should I buy a 2024 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• This year adds Select Sport and Carbon Turbo trims, USB-C charging ports, and an available larger infotainment screen with wireless smartphone mirroring.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,180, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,102 average.
• The 2023 emphasizes a classy interior, enjoyable driving dynamics, and strong safety ratings.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better default choice if you want the latest trim mix, updated tech, and slightly lower average pricing. If you’re shopping strictly on price, the 2023 can still make sense, but the 2024 gives you the more current package without asking for more money on average.
