Used 2023 Mazda CX-30 for Sale nearTampa, FL

How much does the 2023 Mazda CX-30 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 3,666 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — your 5/5 user rating and the 6.8/10 expert rating point to a model that balances style, refinement, and driving enjoyment. The CX-30 stands out for its appealing design, classy and high-quality interior, and enjoyable driving dynamics, and the available turbocharged engine adds extra appeal.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

The main trade-offs are a cramped rear seat and tight cargo space, so it fits you best if you value a premium-feeling small crossover more than maximum practicality. The infotainment system is also a weak point, which matters if you want a simple, intuitive interface.

Good and great deals account for 38.8% of listings, which suggests you can still find competitive pricing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The CX-30’s 2023 updates include improved side-impact collision protection, and the model is described as exceptionally safe with a premium-feeling, well-rounded small-SUV package.

Its standard all-wheel drive, robust base powertrain, and strong safety focus support confidence for everyday use. The performance notes also point to a refined, rewarding driving character, especially on winding roads and at highway speeds.

If you buy used, the biggest long-term ownership risk is choosing a poorly maintained example with the infotainment frustrations or wear-related issues that can make the cabin feel less polished than it should.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Mazda CX-30?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, since accident-free listings are strong but not universal. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the rear seat area, cargo space, and infotainment operation so you know the car matches your needs and expectations. Focus on overall condition, because the CX-30’s appeal depends heavily on its premium-feeling cabin and well-kept presentation.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim has cloth seats, while higher trims add artificial or genuine leather upholstery; the 2.5 S Premium and Turbo Premium also add an adaptive front lighting system, traffic sign recognition, and a head-up display.
• Powertrain: The 2.5 S uses a 191-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder, while the turbocharged version makes up to 250 horsepower on premium fuel and 227 horsepower on regular fuel; both pair with a six-speed automatic and standard AWD.
• Safety package: Every CX-30 includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, a driver monitoring system, automatic high-beam headlights, and E911 emergency notification; blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is standard on all but the base trim.
• Infotainment: The CX-30 uses an 8.8-inch display, and all models include Bluetooth, HD Radio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, connected services, and a Wi-Fi hotspot; the system does not have a touchscreen, and wireless smartphone charging is extra-cost.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2.5 S improves EPA-rated fuel economy to 29 mpg in combined driving, and the turbo model averaged 23.6 mpg on the evaluation drive.

Which 2023 Mazda CX-30 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Mazda CX-30 is offered in 7 trim levels: base, Select, Preferred, Carbon Edition, Premium, Premium Plus, and Turbo Premium Plus.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it is the most stripped-down version, with cloth seats and fewer convenience and safety features than higher trims.
• Select: This is the first step up from the base model and is the better starting point if you want a more complete CX-30 experience without jumping too far in price.
• Preferred: This trim adds more comfort and equipment, making it a stronger everyday choice if you want a nicer cabin without going all the way to the upper trims.
• Carbon Edition: Choose this if you want a more distinctive look and a more upscale feel while staying within the 2.5 S lineup.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds meaningful upgrades like the adaptive front lighting system, traffic sign recognition, and a head-up display.
• Turbo Premium: This is the right pick if you want the turbocharged engine and the added performance it brings, along with the premium equipment that comes with the turbo lineup.
• Turbo Premium Plus: This is the most fully equipped version, adding exclusive driving aids such as a surround-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, automatic rear braking, and Traffic Jam Assist.

All but the base trim include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, so that safety gap is worth keeping in mind if you’re comparing lower trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mazda CX-30?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,666 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,502, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $23,180 sits slightly above last year's $22,992.

That small increase suggests the CX-30 has held its value fairly well, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. Stable pricing also points to steady demand rather than a sharp drop-off in buyer interest. Because the model combines strong safety, a premium interior, and good driving manners, it should remain appealing to used shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Mazda CX-30 safe?

The 2023 Mazda CX-30 earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, a driver monitoring system, automatic high-beam headlights, and E911 emergency notification. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is standard on all but the base trim, and higher trims add an adaptive front lighting system, traffic sign recognition, and a head-up display.

Mazda also improved side-impact crash protection for 2023 with standard rear side airbags and outboard rear seatbelt tensioners. The main caveat is that some of the most useful driver-assistance and visibility features are reserved for higher trims.

Should I buy a 2023 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 update brings a more powerful base engine and improved side-impact collision protection.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $21,841, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $23,180 average.
• It offers a more upscale feel with a refined ride and engaging handling.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,102, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $23,180 average.
• It adds new trims, USB-C ports, and a larger screen with wireless smartphone integration.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current pricing, safety, and updated hardware, the 2023 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value play; if you want newer tech, the 2024 is worth a look.
