Used 2024 Mazda CX-30 for Sale nearSaint Paul, MN

How much does the 2024 Mazda CX-30 cost?

Prices have softened 4.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,804 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mazda CX-30 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

Mazda positions this small crossover as a stylish, refined, and rewarding-to-drive alternative to more ordinary subcompact SUVs. It also comes with standard all-wheel drive, and the available turbocharged engine gives you more power and performance if you want a quicker, more engaging drive.

The trade-offs are familiar for the segment: rear-seat room and cargo space are tight, and the turbocharged version is noted for poor fuel economy.

With 39.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 CX-30 is described as continually updated and upgraded, with a strong emphasis on style, refinement, safety, and rewarding driving dynamics. Its standard all-wheel drive, smooth power delivery, and well-rounded feature set support the impression of a thoughtfully engineered small crossover.

The turbocharged version is praised for its smooth, rising power delivery and engaging character, while the standard engine is described as offering good power for the segment and decent gas mileage. If you choose the turbo, the maintenance and ownership trade-off is more about fuel use than mechanical complexity in the information provided.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the same compact packaging that makes the CX-30 appealing also limits practicality if you need more rear-seat or cargo space.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mazda CX-30?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a turbocharged example or a higher-mileage listing. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake feel, and whether the cabin and cargo area show signs of hard use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup spans eight versions, with the 2.5 S models using a standard 191-horsepower four-cylinder and the 2.5 Turbo models offering up to 250 hp. The cabin is described as stylish and refined, but the base setup still leaves you with the CX-30’s tight rear-seat and cargo space, so you should decide whether the added power or upscale equipment is worth the higher price.
• Powertrain: The standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder offers good power for the segment and decent gas mileage, while the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder delivers stronger acceleration and a smoother surge of power. The turbo version is also the one called out for poor fuel economy.
• Safety package: Every version includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, rear-seat alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control. Adaptive headlights arrive higher in the lineup, and the most expensive Turbo Premium Plus adds front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, rear automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and Cruising and Traffic Support.
• Infotainment: Turbocharged versions get a 10.25-inch display, while other models use an 8.8-inch screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available, and the larger screen adds touchscreen functionality when you use those smartphone-mirroring features. USB-C ports are new this year, and higher trims can add a wireless smartphone charger and Bose premium audio.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbocharged engine is rated at 25 mpg in combined driving, and the standard engine is described as returning decent gas mileage.

Which 2024 Mazda CX-30 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 is offered in 8 trim levels: 2.5 S, 2.5 Turbo, 2.5 Carbon Turbo, and Turbo Premium Plus.

Here's the short version:

• 2.5 S: This is the value-minded starting point if you want the CX-30’s style, standard all-wheel drive, and strong safety equipment without paying for turbo power. It suits you best if you care more about everyday usability and efficiency than extra acceleration.
• 2.5 Turbo: This is the best fit if you want the CX-30 to feel genuinely quick and more premium on the road. You get the stronger turbocharged engine and the larger 10.25-inch infotainment display, but you should be ready for worse fuel economy.
• 2.5 Carbon Turbo: This is the style-forward choice if you want the turbo power plus a more distinctive look and feel. It’s a good match if you value personality and upscale presentation as much as performance.
• Turbo Premium Plus: This is the top choice if you want the most complete CX-30 experience, including the most advanced safety and parking tech. It’s the trim to consider if you want the fullest feature set and don’t mind paying for it.

Every trim benefits from the CX-30’s strong safety reputation, and the standard driver-assistance suite is broad even before you move up the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mazda CX-30?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers who want to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,804 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,224, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $23,266 sits slightly below last year's $24,333.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can make it easier for future sellers to attract attention if they price competitively. The CX-30’s strong safety reputation and upscale feel should help it stay appealing to shoppers looking for a small crossover with a more premium personality.

Because the model continues to score well with owners, demand should remain healthy for clean, well-kept examples. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 safe?

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 earns five-star ratings in every NHTSA assessment except rollover resistance, where it gets a four-star rating, and it is a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Mazda equips every version with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear-seat alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims add adaptive headlights, and the top Turbo Premium Plus brings front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, rear automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and Cruising and Traffic Support with lane-centering assist.

One caveat from testing is that the automatic curve speed reduction technology can feel too aggressive.

Should I buy a 2024 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• This year adds new Select Sport and Carbon Turbo trims, USB-C charging ports, and an available larger infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,434, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,266 average.
• It emphasizes a classy interior and enjoyable driving dynamics.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest feature set, strong safety credentials, and better pricing than last year, the 2024 is the better default choice. If you’re shopping strictly on price and find a cleaner or better-equipped 2023 example, that can still be worth a look, but the 2024’s updated trims and tech make it the more compelling pick for most buyers.
